Aspen came rushing in all of a sudden in the room and started licking me, "Hey! Calm down boy!" I shaked his furry face and kissed him. I have been missing him so much. His yellow gaze shifted to Emily and he jumped on her seat, his tail shaked happily. She patted his fur. If Aspen loves someone more than me then it sure is Emily, And I have to admit I am a bit jealous.
"Emily." I called out to her but she replied in silence.
"Emily what did you mean by that?! Please tell me." I begged her.
"Back when my parents were executed by Sombra, I was just five. I got all alone and the orphanages didn't accept any other orphan because they couldn't fulfill the expenses. I survived a year with my parent's savings but after that I had to do something. The whole country was at a loss at that time so I was on my own. An old lady told me that there was this place in Calhoun where they pay you for cleaning their mansion per day, the Blitzer Mansion." She started to tell me her dark past.
"Tyr Blitzer's mansion?" I asked.
Her voice was shill, my soul was shivering, that smile she always had on her face made it look like she is away from the burden of this world but in reality,
She faced some childhood trauma. She lost her parents at the age of five and there was literally no one that would help her. She indeed looks like a soft girl from the outside but what she has been enduring for the past years, none of us can survive with that...
"Yeah. So, I thought It would help me to earn and survive, so I went to Calhoun to the mansion and trust me that Mansion was really big. It took a complete day to clean. At last in the evening when I asked for the payment I realized that It was a fraud, they don't give money, they usually kill that person or brutally threaten or injure them." There were tears back in her eyes.
"What happened after that?"
Flashback (Emily's P.O.V.):
"Sir, I have cleaned your h-h-house pr-properly. Can I receive my payment now?" I stuttered. All of those Men and Women were so enormous in size. I was frightened.
"You want payment? Aww, Didn't somebody tell this little bird?" He sneered. His voice was gruff and very harsh. All of them laughed.
"T-tell what?" The words slowly escaped my mouth.
"What's your name?" He pulled my braids from the back. It hurt, really hurt. I was scared that he would pull them out.
"E-Emily." I cried. The little me wanted to run away from these monsters that moment.
"Where have ya come from?" A lady asked. She chewed bubblegum.
"Callista in Di-dicendia."
"A lot of people are coming here from Dicendia. The body of that girl we chopped in seven pieces and threw in the lake was also from Dicenda right?" He asked one of his mates.
Chopped the body, threw it in the lake... were they going to do the same with me. My heart raced, my breathing was fast, my soul trembled, I wanted to go back to my home.
"Why are you mopping mansions here? Are your parents filthy poor?" He laughed.
"They aren't alive..."
"OHH! Let me guess Sombra executed them?" One of them smiled. I nodded slightly.
"How about we keep a longsword at your neck and slowly slowly cut your head so you can go meet your dead parents." The lady said as she threw her bubblegum on my dress. Everyone laughed.
"This kid is so boring, I want to hear her screaming, begging. Lock her up in that beautiful room, Apollo would ya?" He looked at one of his mates.
"Wait–No–Please–Let me go–" I screamed thinking someone would hear me, but nobody came to help. They dragged me into a little room, very little room near where Tyr was standing. It's completely dark, I could barely see myself. I could hear the rats squeaking on my foot but that's hardly what I was afraid of. I loved animals. All sorts of them.
The main problem was that I was claustrophobic...
I found myself in such an enclosed space that I started having a panic attack in response to my overwhelming fear. I began sweating horribly, I felt as If would faint any minute now or then. My chest was tightened, my heartbeat fastened, I choked the air, my whole body trembled. I felt as if the room was getting smaller and smaller by every second.
I screamed, smashing my little hands on the door. "PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR SIR!! I AM CLAUSTROPHOBIC!!"
"I CAN'T BREATHE!!"
"THE ROOM IS GETTING SMALLER!"
"HELP SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!"
"GET ME OUT OF HEAR!"
At last they finally opened the door, my throat was dry, my legs wobbled. They dragged me out. I looked at him with disgust. Tyr was still smiling.
"Tyr, She is just a little girl, let her go. It's enough." That bubblegum lady said.
"Oh! But I'm just getting started! I absolutely love her screams!" He kept on smirking. How can people find pleasure in torture?
I couldn't speak anything and even before I could the next thing I knew was that his sharp wolf claws were out of his hands and pierced one of my arms. The sleeve of my yellow dress tore, it was red now, Blood came out all at once, four brutally scratched marks lay on my skin.
I yelped and screeched as tears went down my eyes full of pain. He was about to go for my other arm just when that bubblegum lady stopped him from doing so. Her claws were out as well and she scolded him, "Tyr Blitzer! When I say stop, I mean it!"
"You didn't do it right sis!"
"She is just a child! She would live her whole life in trauma because of this!"
"As if I care!"
"Apollo, take the girl to the hospital, give her the required payment and tell the medic you found her injured this way while I take care of this maniac." She transformed into a wolf and so did Tyr. They began fighting and pounced on each other. Apollo picked me up and ran outside with a little bag of money.
The next thing I remember after this is that I was in a hospital, my wounded arm was bandaged, a deer lady was treating me and there was the money kept by me. From that day onwards I had the fear of wolves as well...
