With a very delightful temperament, I opened the door and I saw the same Frisco eyes, one of them with a scar, the same silk-black hair, and that same victorious gaze of Morana.
"You were spying on me?" I ask her, disgusted.
"Call it whatever you want to but you better hurry up and see what your one-of-a-kind boyfriend is up to." She smirked and vanished.
"What do you mean—" My mouth opened but she was gone till then.
With strange thoughts in my mind, I walked through the corridors. I wonder what she had meant by that? Nevermind. She talks rubbish. Suddenly I realized that I had come out to meet Tevren. It's going to be my first time visiting Evarden, I wonder what kind of place it is...
I snap my fingers, ignoring Morana's stupid words, and stand outside the castle of Evarden, It was huge, very enormous. The castle walls were beige
With dark red tombs on them. I looked around, there were beautiful valleys around, little houses on large hilltops, there were many cliffs, and a beautiful waterfall right by the castle. The weather here was pleasant. They always have spring in Evarden. My cream wrap-up retro woolen dress was making me sweat.
I walked ahead towards the guards assembled. I greeted them, "Princess Faye Alagte from Dicendia. I am here to meet Prince Tevren Valora."
"Follow me." One of them answered and guided me inside, he took me to a garden and said, "The majesty is in there." He marched his way back to the gates. I went deeper into the garden. It was connected to a room. I suddenly spotted Tevren and felt as if my whole world shattered and crumbled into pieces.
"Tev–Tevren." I stuttered as I saw him... As I saw him kissing a girl. He startled a bit, more astonished on hearing my voice, and told the girl to go inside.
My eyes couldn't process what I saw. Maybe I am having a nightmare. Maybe none of this isn't real. But I am afraid it was... The glimpse of the love of my life holding another girl and kissing her was real.
"Faye... What a surprise?!" He said walking towards me.
Tears rolled down my cheeks, "You–You lied to me. How could you?! You said you loved me." My voice was shrill.
"I never really loved you, Faye." He came to me and kept his hand on my cheek. I jerked it away.
"BUT I LOVED YOU TEVREN! I ACTUALLY DID! And what do you mean by you never loved me? All those things you said, the way you acted, Did all that mean nothing to you?!!"
"Don't tell me you actually thought that all of that was real. I actually thought you would figure it out sooner but Nah! You are so naive!" He smirked. His sweet and caring voice, which I adored the most wasn't the same. Every word escaping from his mouth was bitter and so sharp that every single one of them pierced through my heart.
"Figure out what? That you are cheating on me?! And who is that girl?!!"
"That you would figure out that Morana and I had planned this. You don't know me that well Faye! I am not some goody-shoe prince, I am more of a playboy prince. This true Love, Till Death, do us part, these things are not meant for me." He rolls his eyes, grabs a chair, and sits on it.
"Mor–Morana?" The words slowly escaped my mouth as I lowered my eyes.
"Well, she told me that she wants me to make you fall in love with me, make
it look like I love you back, and then break your heart. I and Morana are good
friends so I helped her and besides I thought it would be fun." He grinned, biting his lips.
