Faye's P.O.V.
"But-but Aspen, you aren't scared of him..."
"I was Faye. The day I found you unconscious when you came to Dicendia I took you to my house and I didn't know that your wolf was following me. When I reached my home and turned around, I spotted Aspen looking at me. I was terrified Faye, I thought that Tyr was back and he would kill me this time. I had another panic attack but Aspen he slowly came and kept his head on my lap. He gave me a unique comfort and besides he is such a cutie." She smiled assuring me that she is alright but I can see it in her eyes, the pain, the horror she had gone through.
I walk towards her and wrap her tight in my arms. Trust me, If I was in Emily's place, I would have felt the same. After all, childhood traumas are indeed the worst.
"Let's go." I told her.
"Where?" She asks, wiping her tears, confused.
"That Maniac's mansion!" I answer. She is shocked all of a sudden.
"You really want me to come as well?" She questions.
"Yes, I want you to see when he begs for mercy for his life. Bring Aspen along. He can handle bad wolves better than anyone else. Besides, I also need to teach him a lesson about not being bribed. After all, he has some of the royal treasure and he owes to pay my father's dungeons a visit." I wink at her.
She grabs Aspen's paw and I grab her hand. With a swirl of my hand and some sparkly blue magic I speak, "Near Tyr Blitzer's Mansion."
In a blink of the eye I stood in the Calhoun market. A very crowded place with vendors screaming their products at the top of their voices. We hid behind a jute net and tried to look for the mansion.
"There. There's hell." Emily pointed at the left side. A few feet away, there was an old valley and inside that I could see a white old money mansion.
Two guards stood outside guarding the main rusty gate. There was no one else in sight. I snapped my fingers, grabbed a fresh binocular and peeked at the castle windows. I could see people laughing and discussing.
"How many people were exactly there the last time you were there?" I asked.
"Five. Three men and two women."
"Well, I can also see five inside but there could be more and The only way we could get in would be to distract the two guards."
"Why don't you just freeze them?" Emily suggested.
My gaze shifted from the guards to the vendor with spices, hot red chili pepper, "I wanna try something new." I smiled and gave her a sign as she shook her head chuckling.
We secretly grabbed some red chili pepper, Aspen followed us, that guy is smart. I made all three of us invisible where we both could see each other but the others couldn't and we walked ahead with a plate full of pepper, on my sign we threw the paper onto the guards faces. They screamed as the pepper burned their eyes and they ran away in search of water.
"We could've just frozen them." Emily remarked.
"But this was fun." I winked.
"You're acting like Deave." She smiled.
"I am really missing him so we better hurry up and get Tyr so we can get his bail."
We went inside, still invisible. The dark green bushes surrounded the ivory mansion with royal blue triangular tops. There was a thick canopy of trees by their side and many small fountains in the center. This all seemed so beautiful and aesthetic but things aren't how they always seem. All of this beautiful mansion is made by earning money in illegal activities.
