With Oliver by her side, Thea had worked up the courage to come out to her mother, who like, her brother, had been very understanding also supported Thea's relationship with Helena, not only because it made her daughter happy, but also because since she was in a relationship with the heiress to the Wayne Fortune, it also opened the doors to a potential merger between Queen Consolidated and Wayne Enterprises, though she kept that part to herself, since she didn't think that either of her children would be very happy with that. Especially since Oliver was still sore with her over her decision not to fund his community center, but she stood by it, since it would not be a profitable investment for Queen Consolidated. And of course, she had other reasons too, but she couldn't tell her son about that.

Anyways, after Thea had come out to Moira and told her about Helena, she'd been delighted when Moira had asked her to invite Helena to come visit them in Star City so that she could finally meet the young woman who'd brought so much joy to her daughter and Thea had gratefully obliged.

And like she'd suspected, Laurel had suspected that Thea was gay, but just like she'd done with Sara, Laurel had kept her mouth shut to allow Thea to come out when she was good and ready, something that Thea appreciated, since she'd asked Laurel and Oliver to be there for the meet and greet, especially since after Thea had told Helena that she'd come out to her mom, Helena revealed that she'd already come out to her parents and that they wanted to come and meet Thea for the first time too, something that Thea was than happy about and her mother was too, since she was very happy to finally get to meet the infamous Bruce Wayne and his wife, Helena's mother, Selina Kyle.

Anyways, today was the day they were meeting and Moira had the house staff working overtime to make sure that the mansion looked absolutely spotless, since not only was her daughter's girlfriend coming over for the first time, but so was the CEO of Wayne Enterprises and she wanted to make sure that things would be perfect for when they arrived.

Which was why Thea was grateful when her brother, his girlfriend and their daughter arrived at the mansion, though Jasmine was currently asleep in her mother's arms.

"Can you please talk some sense into mom. I thought I'd be the one going crazy making sure everything was perfect for today, but she's even worse than I would be. I don't get it, she never went this crazy when you brought Laurel over, no offense Laurel." Thea said and Laurel smiled.

"None taken, but I wasn't a member of one of the most elite families in Gotham. Especially since your mom has to see this as the opportunity to form a real business relationship between Queen Consolidated and Wayne Enterprises. Might even lead to a merger between the two." Laurel said.

"I swear, if she brings that up here, I will kill her." Thea said, since while she wasn't opposed to the idea for their companies merging, the meeting of her girlfriend's parents for the first time was not the time or place to bring it up.

"Don't worry, I'll keep her in line." Oliver promised.

"Thank you. Now can you please see if you can get her to calm down, since I don't want her to scare Helena off. Also, I mentioned your plans to her and she said that her dad was definitely interested in helping out with your plans and he has some ideas of his own for improving them." Thea said and Oliver smiled.

"And I'm more than happy to hear them, since any ideas he has about this are more than welcome." Oliver said, happy to find out that there was a billionaire CEO who was willing to back him.

"Great, but please do not get into a fight with him about it, since I really want my girlfriend's dad to like me and my brother picking a fight with him is not the way to do it." Thea said.

"I'm aware of how it feels to have my girlfriend's father hate me and I don't want that for you, so I promise I'll play nice." Oliver said.

"At least dad pretends to tolerate you now, though that might just be because I threatened to cut off his access to Jasmine if he didn't and you joining the military helped you win some points with him." Laurel said, right as Jasmine began to wake up.

"Mommy." Jasmine said as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"Hey baby girl, did you have a good nap?" Laurel asked and Jasmine nodded.

"Yes, but I'm hungry. Can we eat lunch now?" Jasmine asked as her stomach rumbled.

"Not yet, we're still waiting on some other guests, including one who's special to your aunt Thea, so we have to wait for them. But why don't we go say hello to Grandma Moira and see if you can distract her for a little while." Laurel said as she took Jasmine further inside the house to leave the two siblings alone to talk.

"So, you nervous?" Oliver asked.

"What would you think if I said yes?" Thea asked.

"That you were being honest, since meeting the parents is a big step." Oliver said.

"Yeah, tell me about it. I can't help but think about what will happen if Helena's parents don't like me." Thea said and Oliver smiled.

"All that matters is if Helena likes you and if she does and for some reason her parents don't, then if Helena really cares about you the way you do her, then she'll make them find a way to like you for her sake. Just like Laurel did with me and her dad. But that won't be necessary, since if her parents are smart, they'll love you almost as much as she does. Now calm down and let's go help mom make sure that everything is ready." Oliver said and Thea nodded.

"Thanks Ollie, I didn't realize just how badly I needed to hear that." Thea said to her brother gratefully.

"It's what I'm here for. And I always will be. Well that and warning Helena that if she breaks your heart, I don't care who her family is, I will break her." Oliver said and Thea rolled her eyes.

"Can you at least wait until you get to know her better first." Thea said.

"No promises, but I promise not to do it today." Oliver said.

"I'll take it." Thea said, grateful that she still had her big brother in her corner and somehow she knew that she always would.
