Laurel was currently on the Queen's private jet with both her future mother-in-law, Moira Queen, and more importantly, her four year old daughter Jasmine, who she was taking with her to Hong Kong to finally meet her father for the first time.

"Do you think he'll like me?" Jasmine asked her mother shyly, since while she'd initially been excited when her mommy had told her that her daddy had been found and she was going to meet him, now she was scared that he wouldn't like her.

"I think that if he doesn't like you, I'll put him back on the island they found him on, but don't worry, he'll love you as much as I do. In fact, he'll probably just be upset that he wasn't there to watch you grow up." Laurel said as Moira joined them.

"She's right Jasmine. Your father will love you as much as your mother does and even more than I do." Moira said.

"You think?" Jasmine asked and Laurel nodded.

"I know. He's gonna be so excited to meet you." Laurel promised, silently hoping that was true, since right now, she couldn't help but wonder if she was lying to her daughter, but quickly put that thought out of her head before pulling Jasmine onto her lap.

"And no matter what happens, remember that I'll always love you." Laurel promised and Jasmine nodded before she hugged her mom.

"It's gonna be a few more hours before we land, so why don't you try and get some sleep, prepare for the time change." Moira said and Laurel nodded.

"Especially since I think it's around someone's nap time." Laurel said and while Jasmine pouted a little, she didn't argue too much, since she was tired as she allowed her mother to take to one of the onboard cabins and tucked her in before returning to the main cabin.

"You were so worried about how Oliver would react, maybe you should've told him about her when he called you." Moira said, making it clear that she was still sore that Oliver had called Laurel before her, causing Laurel to roll her eyes.

"Kind of something you tell him in person." Laurel said and Moira nodded, conceding that was a fair point.

"But he will be happy about this. After all, didn't you two talk about having kids before?" Moira asked.

"Yes, but that was back before he was lost at sea for 5 years. Who knows how that changed him." Laurel said.

"I think he'll be thrilled." Moira said.

"He better be, otherwise it'll be very awkward to have flown all the way out to Hong Kong just to break up with him." Laurel said.

"You won't need to break up with him. Especially considering the fact that the engagement ring he gave you never left your finger in the past five years." Moira said and Laurel smiled as she looked down at her grandmother's ring.

"Yeah, well, technically widows don't take off their rings, even if he and I hadn't gotten married yet." Laurel said.

"So, how soon will it be before I start needing to start hiring wedding planners?" Moira asked and Laurel smiled.

"That depends on how long it takes him and I to fall back into the right rhythm. But hopefully, within the year." Laurel said.

After the plane touched down in Hong Kong, Moira had a car waiting to take them first to the hotel so they could get settled in and get Jasmine some food before finally heading to their true destination. The hospital where Oliver was currently being treated at.

Laurel had asked Moira to let her go in first and to watch Jasmine, since she wanted to get a feeling for Oliver's mental state before she allowed their daughter to meet him, since she didn't want to risk him scaring her accidentally by snapping and Moira had obliged.

When she entered Oliver's hospital room, she smiled at seeing him, though he hadn't noticed her yet, he was just staring blankly out the window at the rising sun on the Hong Kong skyline. But then her heart broke slightly as she began noticing the scars on his back, since he was shirtless at the moment.

"Ollie." Laurel said cautiously, as if she was still trying to convince herself this was real as he turned to face her and she felt her heart drop a little more at seeing even more scars on his chest, along with a tattoo that he definitely didn't have before. But the thing that truly broke her heart was the look in Oliver's eyes. They were the look of a broken man, trying to put on an act like he wasn't.

"Hi Laurel." Oliver said with a smile that made Laurel smile, since while he was definitely different in some ways, she knew that he was still the same Ollie she loved.

"Ollie." Laurel said, tears running down her cheeks as she rushed up to him and kissed him with about 5 years worth of built up passion into the kiss and she felt him return the kiss with just as much passion.

"So I guess this means the wedding is still on?" Oliver asked her when they broke apart.

"That depends on how you respond to what I'm about to tell you." Laurel said.

"What's going on?" Oliver asked her.

"You might want to sit down Ollie." Laurel said.

"Laurel, what's going on?" Oliver asked and Laurel sighed.

"Ollie, neither of us knew it at the time, but when you left on the Gambit, I was pregnant." Laurel said.

"Wait, pregnant?" Oliver asked, shocked.

"Yes. We have a daughter. Her name is Jasmine Olivia Queen. She's four years old." Laurel said.

"What did you tell her about me?" Was the first thing he asked and Laurel smiled, since it sounded like he was happy about this development.

"That if you'd known about her, you never would've left. Was I right?" Laurel asked.

"If I'd known you were pregnant, nothing would've stopped me from being there for you. I just can't believe that I missed so many milestones. Her first steps, her first words." Oliver said.

"So you're happy about this?" Laurel asked, needing to be sure.

"Laurel, for the first time in five years, I have something to be happy about besides going home and finding out that I'm a father, it's the best news I could get. I mean we always talked about having kids, how I'd be the fun parent and you'd be the strict one." Oliver said and Laurel smiled.

"I remember. I still think it's unfair that you get to be the fun parent." Laurel said.

"Well, life isn't always fair, no one knows that better than me. But did you bring her with you?" Oliver asked and Laurel nodded.

"She's out in the waiting room with your mom. I wanted to see you for myself first and make sure that you were mentally fit enough to meet her, since she's both excited and nervous to meet you." Laurel said.

"She's afraid I wouldn't want her isn't she?" Oliver asked and Laurel nodded.

"I mean, she never knew you before, how can you expect her to react?" Laurel asked.

"I get it. But did I pass your test?" Oliver asked and Laurel smiled.

"You did. Hang on a sec, I'll go tell your mom that she can bring Jasmine, since your mom is eager to see you again too." Laurel said and Oliver smiled.

"And I'm eager to see her too." Oliver said.
