"We already broke up two months before everything happened." Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya.
 
"What? Why?" Natatawa lang na umiling si Zach sa akin. He poked my left cheeks before giving me a smack on the lips. 
 
Nakakarami na ito, ah!
 
"It's already in the pass. She broke up with me, that's all." Nag kibit balikat siya.

"I was broke, but I realized that fighting for someone who didn't want to fight anymore is useless. You caught my attention inside the bar, you came near our table right? But you didn't come closer and just turn your back. There is a tension between us, and an electrifying feeling that I don't know, that's why I agree with you. I made a way to make a contract so that you will not have a courage to escape, but you're too brave and still leave. That's why after you leave I used all my connections to find you. At first, I'm having a hard time because someone is protecting you. I really wanna know who it is. I am furious thinking that it may be your man, who doesn't want me to know you. But when I found out who it is, I gave him a three punch on his face. Enzo did a great job hiding you from me over six months, but not good enough because I immediately found you." He winks at me.

I rolled my eyes because of that.

"Hina pala no'n mag tago ng sekreto. Edi sana hindi na ako sa kaniya humingi ng tulong." Bubulong bulong na ani ko. Tumawa lang si Zach. Minasdan ko siya. He is glowing and so handsome. This is my favorite side of him.
 
Ngumiti din ako, pero agad din napawi ng maalala ang dahilan kung bakit ako galit sa kaniya. "But you want to get the custody of Sage, how can you explain that?" I raised my left eyebrow at him. Huminto at tila nag-isip.
 
"Oh fuck Drei!" Nangunot ang noo ko doon.
 
"Anong kinalaman no'n ni Drei, huh?" Namumungay ang mga mata niya.
 
"Baby, don't be mad at me. Be mad at Drei instead. I don't intend to get the custody of Sage because I love you and I want to be with you. What you saw on my laptop isn't mine. It's Drei's." Hindi pa ako kumbinsido. 
 
"He came to my office before I went to my operation, and he ambushed my laptop. He said there's no internet in their house because their WiFi is not functioning. He is a political science student and is doing research about some cases of parents separating. He is in charge of doing the research about the laws and such."
 
"Ah! Kaya pala nakita ko si Drei doon sa hospital! I thought nag papacheck up lang siya doon." Napasimangot at nag init ang pisngi ko dahil sa nangyari. All the misconceptions lead us to something painful. "I-I'm sorry."
 
He cupped my chin and stared into my eyes. "It's okay, baby, I never blame you."
 
"Pero anong ginagawa ni Cassidy sa kwarto ng anak natin sa hospital?" 
 
"She just passed by." Sagot niya agad. "She doesn't really matter to me now, we are now just friends."
 
"Sa friends kaya nag uumpisa lahat ulit," I pouted.
 
"Do you want me to unfriend her?" he gently asked before hugging me. I enveloped my hands around his waist and nuzzled my face against his hard chest. 
 
"Ano, 'yon Facebook friend?" He laughed at what I'd said, which caused his chest to vibrate.
 
"Don't be jealous, baby. You're my only love." Napangiti ako sa lambing ng boses niya. "Don't think of yourself only the mother of my child because because you are something and more than that. I love you." He kissed my hair.
 
"I love you more, Zach." 
 
Matapos ang yakapan ay humarap siya sa puntod ni Papa. Halos pigil ko ang luha habang nag sasalita siya.
 
"Hi, Sir. I never had a chance to talk with you a lot, but I know you can remember me. And now I'm here in front of you to ask for the hand of your daughter. Your very brave and wonderful daughter. From now on, I will take over with your mission. I will take care of her, protect her, and love her until eternity. I'm not promising not to make her cry, but I promise that those tears that she will make are all because of too much happiness and love that I gave."
 
Sinulyapan ako ni Zach, I mouthed 'I love you' to him again.
 
"Sa akin? Hindi mo hihingin sa akin ang kamay ng anak ko?" Napatingin kami kay Nanay na nakatayo sa harapan habang nakangiti at bakas ang luha sa mga mata. 
 
Mag Nanay talaga kami. Mga iyakin.
 
"No need, Nay. I already have her hand." Pinakita niya ang kamay naming magkahawak. 
 
I amusingly look at him. Discovering his different side made my heart flutter.
 
"Aba! Pilosopo ka na ngayon ah!" Akmang kukunin ni Nanay ang tsinelas niya kaya natawa kami. 
 
Nang matapos ang usapan namin sa harap ng puntod ni Papa ay mabilis na ako na nag-aya kay Zach papunta kina Mommy Lily. Sabi niya ay doon daw sila nanatili mag mula ng umalis ako lalo na at nahihirapan siya na mag isang alagaan si Sage. Noong nagkalagnat si Sage ay dahil sa na dengue siya at pasalamat na lang at kinaya ng bata. Iyak ako ng iyak ng malaman ang lahat ng iyon. Pakiramdam ko ay napaka iresponsable kong ina.
 
Pagkarating ko sa mansyon nila ay hindi ko na hinintay si Zach at Nanay. Agad akong pumasok. Wala akong pakialam kung galit sa akin sina Mommy Lily. 
 
All I care about right now is my Sage. Our Sage.
 
Pag pasok ko sa mansion ay iyak agad ng bata ang narinig ko at pag aalo ni Mommy Lily.
 
"Apo, tahan na. Dadating na si Mommy." Saad niya habang kalong kalong si Sage. Unti-unting nagbagsakan ang aking luha. 
 
Ang laki na niya. Sa loob ng halos isa at kalahating buwan ay ang laki ng kaniyang pinagbago niya. Paano pa kaya kung walang ginawa si Nanay at saka pa ako nagkaroon ng lakas ng loob? Edi lalong huli na ang lahat.
 
Napabaling ang tingin sa akin ni Mommy Lily, akala ko ay babatuhin niya ako ng masasamang tingin ngunit hindi. Naiiyak lang siya ng tingin sa akin. Naramdaman ko ang presensya ni Zach at ni Nanay sa likod ko.
 
Habang naglalakad si Mommy ay mabilis kong pinunasan ang aking luha. Tumahan naman si Sage at minasdan ako ng maigi. He is looking at me with his blue eyes. Pakiramdam ko ay nanalamin ako sa kaniyang mga mata. 
 
Gamit ang nanginginig na kamay ay kinarga ko siya. Kahit ang timbang niya ay nagbago.
 
Nakita kong binatukan ni Mommy si Zach habang katulad ko ay umiiyak din. "Bakit kasi ngayon mo lang sinundo, sasama din naman pala agad sa'yo!"
 
Pinunasan ko ang luha sa kaniyang matabang pisnge. I smiled. 
 
"Hi, baby," I cutely said before giving him a lot of kisses on his face. He even giggled when I kissed the tip of his proud nose, which is a little bit more defined now.
 
"You missed, Mommy?" He put his cute little hands on my cheeks. He made a baby sound that made me laugh. After that, he nuzzled my neck.
 
"Aww, so cute." Komento ni Mommy. 
 
Isinayaw sayaw ko naman si Sage bago hinaplos ang kaniyang likod upang patulugin at hindi naman ako nagkamali dahil kalaunan ay nakatulog na siya. Pagod siguro sa pagiyak. 
 
Dinala ko na siya sa kwarto ni Zach, at hindi ako umalis sa tabi niya. I stared at him and watched every move he made.
 
I miss my baby so much.
 
Naramdaman ko ang paglundo ng kama sa aking likod at pagyakap ni Zach. 
 
"He really looks like me when he is sleeping." Napatango naman ako sa sinabi niya. Halos lahat kasi ay nakuha ni Sage sa Daddy niya. Mula sa kilay, pilik, ilong, kulay, and labi. Nakita ko minsan ang baby picture ni Zach sa baba at masasabi kong kamukha niya talaga. Maliban lang kapag nag mumulat na siya. His deep ocean blue eyes are really tantalizing.
 
Gustong gusto ko lagi na makipag tinginan dito kay Sage. Dahil sa mata niya, parang nakikita ko kung sino ako. Iyon lang naman kasi ang namana niya sa akin.
 
"Don't ever leave us like that again, Zenith, and it's not a request, it's an order. You don't have any rights to leave because I will make sure that I will tie you with me. If not with me, then in my bed." Napatingin ako sa kaniya dahil sa mapanukso niyang sinabi.
 
"Really? Then how will you tie me? Care to demo it with me, Doc?" I teasingly said.
 
I smirked when his lips protruded. "Unfair, baby, huh? Saying that when we are in my parents house?" He crouched a bit and put his lips in my ears. He bit it, which sent some electrifying feeling through my vein down to my lower abdomen. He licked it sensually, which made it wet.
 
"Wait until we got home because I would never even let you close your eyes to sleep. I will fuck you until I get tired." I got afraid because I knew he wouldn't get tired easily and was excited at the same time. But instead of showing him that I'm weak, I licked the side of his neck. He stiffened, and I triumphantly smiled.
 
"Then fuck me until you get tired, and I will fuck you all day and night."
