"Play whatever the hell you both want, but keep me out of your silly games," I said with my arms crossed, after listening to them talk.

Less like two successful men and more like criminals plotting their next move.

"Or?" Adhvik stepped closer, his dark brown eyes locking onto mine.

Any other time, I might've entertained a staring contest, but now, I simply shifted my gaze past him-to his brother, who leaned casually against the wall, watching us with unsettling interest.

Did I just step into some deep-seated brotherly drama?

I couldn't care less.

Turning back to Adhvik, I took a step closer despite every nerve in my body warning me that being anywhere near this man was a mistake.

A dangerous one.

I rose slightly onto my toes-even in my heels-to whisper, "I play better games."

It wasn't a lie.

Playing dirty was practically in my blood, wasn't it?

Before he could react, I stepped back, my gaze flicking to his brother, who wore the same unreadable expression.

"Let's talk," I said, forcing his attention to me.

"After dinner," he replied flatly.

My fingers curled into fists.

I hated being here.

"Now," I said sharply.

He clicked his tongue, unimpressed. "Dining area's this way." He gestured to our right.

I stared at both of them, unimpressed in return.

I already couldn't understand Adhvik with his constant threats, and now his brother was here, trying to pass me off as his girlfriend for God knows what reason.
