He has a plan.
A plan built to tear a man's life apart - vein by vein, breath by breath.
From that cursed day, all he's ever wanted was to ruin him beyond recognition.
But death? Death is silence. Death is peace. And peace is mercy.

"I don't think it's a good idea..." I ignored Ruhaan's suggestion, placed the plate I had just eaten from in the sink, and turned back to him with a deep breath.
I hadn’t eaten all day. I thought that was why I was so irritated, but honestly, my appetite’s been dead lately anyway.
"You know what I had to go through for the job you left incomplete?" I asked with heavy disappointment in my voice.
"I wasn't told that we have to turn the camera on manually for the first time, or I'd have done it there already..." I looked away with a long exhale.
"He's indeed an idiot," Manvi mumbled with her mouth full of her snacks. "But now that what happened has happened. Scolding him is never helpful, I assure you." She held out her hand in confidence, and I nodded slowly.
I didn't mean to scold Ruhaan anyway.
I know mistakes happen, but I'd already suffered enough for going there, and knowing the task was incomplete only fueled my head more.
"Back to the real discussion," she announced, and I turned back to her as well as Ruhaan.
"Show me that invitation card again." She stretched out her hand to me, and I looked back into her eyes, gesturing to her snack-covered hands.
"Fine, fine," she rubbed her palms against the fabric of her clothes on her thigh before I handed her the card that I had received just ten minutes ago on the doorstep.
I suddenly remembered the way I yelled at Ruhaan and turned back to check on him.
"Ruhaan–"
"Couldn't you both cook a little extra?" I heard his disappointed voice from the kitchen and sighed.
"I did, but I ate the extra too." I turned back to Manvi at her reply, watching her observe the card carefully.
"Anyway, Ruhaan was right..." she mumbled after a long pause, and I took the card back, sitting beside her on the couch.
