"Can't believe..." I turned to Manvi, not glare, not death stare, nothing.
"Sorry, I'm believing everything." She muttured straight away.
"I didn't want to tell you both anything in the first place but you were the one to nudge me to spill!" I reminded.
"It was this idiot who forced me to nudge you, first and foremost!" She hit Ruhaan on his elbow and he hissed in pain.
"Ignore her. Continue." He leaned his head further into the desk between us as I was sitting opposite him.
"Then..." Memories hit me back again.
"We're married, aren't we?"
There was pure disgust over my face before I shook my head.
"What more do you expect from a normal mind after seeing a mass murder? I fainted."
"Who carried you back then?" Manvi questioned with impatience even before I was done.
My brows furrowed.
I never wondered this...
The sudden remembrance of feeling two strong arms wrap around my body was the second disgust attack.
"I..." They both watched me curiously. "I don't know," I muttered, grabbing the cold coffee from the desk and taking a sip.
"That was it?" Ruhaan asked.
Waking up in that room, eating the dog food—damn it was baby food. Begging him to buy me clothes? Eww. Why'd I become that helpless! Then letting him drop me to the airport also!
I was being so shameless for all those stupid favours I took from him.
Anyway, they don't need to know this side of the story.
"Yes." I took another sip of coffee.
"He's also back?"
I shook my head, placing the coffee back on the desk. "I don't know, I came before him." I shrugged.
