W2S- Niece

Today me and Harry are looking after my niece Hallie so that my sister and her husband can have some alone time, plus we love her and Harry always gets really excited when we get to watch her for the day.

As my sister pulled up outside Harry rushed to open our front door. I walked up and stood next to him just as Hallie swung the door open and jumped out of the car. A bright smile spread across her face. "Auntie y/n! Uncle Harry!" She raced towards us, wrapping her arms around one of both of our legs.

My sister handed me her little pink backpack, I said goodbye and she left. I closed the front door to go find Harry and Hallie. They sat in the living room on the couch scrolling through Hallie's netflix profile that we made last time she came here. "You hungry Hallie?" I asked, making my way over to the kitchen. She looked to Harry then back at me. "Nah." She returned her focus to the tv. Me and Harry glanced at each other, holding in a laugh. "Sounds like JJ." Harry said making me chuckle.

After watching a random kids show for a little while we decided it was time to go and have some fun. We all put our coats and shoes on then left. We walked to the park that was just ten minutes away from our house.

As the park came into view Hallie suddenly got very excited. She raced towards the gate and headed straight for the slide. Both me and Harry laughed as we also entered, taking a seat on one of the benches so we could watch her.

"Come play with me!" Hallie demanded, pulling Harry's hand. "Alright, ok! I'm coming." He glanced back at me and I looked at him with a light smile. As I sat there I realised how amazing Harry was with her, he was a natural. It got me thinking about the future and what he'd be like with our own kids.

I was broken from my thoughts by a cry. I rushed over to see Hallie on the ground with a nasty looking scrape on her knee. "It's ok, you're ok." I pulled her into a hug then looked up at Harry. "We were playing tag and well-" he gestured to her knee, "she fell." I nodded. "Come on, let's get you home and we'll clean you up." I whispered reassuringly in to her ear.

Harry carried her back to our house on his back. Once we arrived home I cleaned her up and all was forgotten when she was given a 'special' disney princess plaster.

We had lunch and soon it was time for her to go home. I grabbed all of her things and popped them into her backpack. When the doorbell rang Hallie ran towards the front door, followed by both me and Harry.

"Hi! How'd it go?" My sister asked with a smile as Hallie wrapped her arms around her. "Great! We had lots of fun didn't we Hal." I replied. "Yeah!" She looked up at me. "Auntie y/n and Uncle Harry took me to the park and I fell over but look at this!" She lifted her knee up so her mum could see her plaster. My sister smiled, eyes widening. "Wow! That's so cool." She played up to her daughter's excitement.

"Bye!" Hallie called before she got into the car. "Bye!" Me and Harry echoed in unison. As we shut the door and went to sit in the living room I looked at Harry. "So, I was thinking-" "well that's never good." He interrupted. I playfully slapped his arm. "I was thinking about how good you are with Hal and- it kinda made me want-" "kids?" I nodded. "Oh wow." Harry breathed out.

"Obviously we can wait if you're not ready right now, I just-" he cut me off with a soft kiss. "No, I'm ready." He said softly. A bright smile spread across my face. "You are?" "Mhm, from the moment I met you I knew that I wanted to have a family with you." He pulled me into his chest as we both got comfy. "I love you." I whispered. "I love you more."
