The next day at the Xavier Institute for the Gifted, The Newyorkers were assembled in the field with Professor Xavier, Hank McCoy, and a handful of X-Students that the Newyorkers had already met.

"So, Monica sent you all here to get a better handle on your powers if I'm correct," Charles pondered

"Yeah, but I guess the main issue is with Danny and Alex's powers," Peter retorted.

"Alright, then before we make any progress, are you all mutants, mutates, or inhumans," Hank inquired.

"What's the difference," Danny asked in response.

"Mutants are people born with powers due to a mutation in their genetics, mutates are people given powers later on in life through technology, science or some kind of experiment gone wrong and inhumans are people born with the capacity to have powers but they must be activated by a special chemical,"

"I guess we're all mutates then," Wanda reasoned, however, Professor Xavier seemed unconvinced, discreetly taking a glance at the Young heroes' minds. His intervention was short-lived as he was met with some kind of psychic barrier, followed by a vision that shook him to his core.

"Professor, are you alright," Hank managed to snap the professor back to reality.

"Yes, sorry about that. Hank, would you finish installing the rest of the Newyorkers, I have some matters to attend to," The Professor instructed, before rolling away towards the main building.

"Well then, you guys are in luck cause Mondays are activities day which is exactly what it sounds like. Here at the institute, we think that the best way to master one's power is to first know its limits, so on Mondays, we encourage the students to familiarise themselves with the powers they're trying to master and find creative ways to use them. However, it's always best to do things with a partner, so if you encounter anyone with similar powers, make sure to introduce yourselves. Sorry about the rushed introduction but it seems that something had the professor seriously distraught," Hank explained as the Newyorkers listened attentively.

"I could go check on him," Jean suggested.

"No, I think he'll be alright for now. Besides you've got an archery class to teach," Hank replied

"You do archery?" A surprised Kate asked.

"Yeah. Hey you know what, you should come too you could help me teach a bunch of middle schoolers how to shoot," Jean proposed

"I'm not sure, I'm not really a good teacher," Kate replied anxiously

"She's just being modest," Shuri said, trying to lift Kate's spirits

"Come on, who better to teach an archery class than Hawkette," Jean said

"I guess when you put it like that," Kate thought out loud

"Yess! Come on we've got to hurry, we can't keep them waiting." Jean said, grabbing Kate's hand and heading towards the other side of the field.

"Hey Alex, I was gonna go see Robby, you wanna come with," Kitty suggested

"Robby, that's the guy you mentioned yesterday right," Alex responded and Kitty nodded her head.

"Then yeah let's go," Alex said and followed Kitty to a different area of the field.

"Um Wanda I want you to meet someone," Peter D called his cousin over

"Sure," Wanda replied, following her cousin.

With everyone dispersing into groups, Danny found himself alone until he heard someone call his name. It was Hank waving him over.

"So Monica gave me a brief explanation of your energy powers," Hank started
