"Come on keep trying," Betsy encouraged as Danny tried to form something in his hand. The purple haired girl was holding a glowing pink katana in her hand and it appeared that Danny was trying to copy her.

"You know it's not as easy as it looks,"

"Maybe we should start with something easier. Maybe something you're more accustomed to making, like your kineball,"

Hearing Betsy say this made Danny recall the training session he had with Monica where he had first crafted the kineball. It was an unfortunate mishap that occurred after he had tried to replicate a solid ball of NG that Monica had formed. Unfortunately at the time Damny couldn't consciously generate NG so he ended up making a ball of kinetic energy. However now he could, so theoretically since he'd already seen Monica make a ball of NG, then so should he.

The dark haired speedster closed his eyes and held out his palm as he took in a deep breath. Neon blue energy began sparking around his body and a small portion of it began swirling in his palm. Slowly, the energy began forming into a sphere. An actual sphere, unlike the dodecahedral shape of the kine ball. Moments later, Danny opened his eyes as he felt the new found weight in his hand.

"Wow, I actually did it," Danny said, overjoyed by this accomplishment.

"Does it feel any different from the other one?" Besty asked.

"Not really, It looks a bit different though," Danny replied as his eyes remained glued to the neon blue sphere in his hand.

"Try it out, let's see what it can do," Betsy ruggested

"Where?" Danny asked, looking around the field.

"How bout the tree," Betsy suggested.

Danny agreed and turned around to face the tree. He raised his hand up and tossed the sphere. The neon blue construct collided with the tree and sent out a shockwave that sent the two teens flying back a few feet.

"What the heck just happened," Danny groaned as he sat up, shortly followed by Betsy. Danny looked up at the tree and a hole the size of the neon blue sphere pierced straight through.

"Wow, that thing packs a punch," Betsy said as the two teens approached the tree and began to examine the circular hole.

"Maybe too much," Danny answered concerningly.

"I'm gonna try and make it smaller," he added, and he and Betsy moved away from the tree.

When they were about ten feet from the tree, Danny took in a breath and rubbed his hands together for a few seconds. The speedster turned on his powers and slowly generated a small ping pong sized sphere of NG. Danny put his right hand in a flicking position and used his powers to move the ball of NG onto his middle finger. He released his middle finger from his thumbs grasp, sending the sphere flying into the tree. Although this had decreased the possible damage to something more acceptable in Danny's opinion. If he was ever in a situation where he had to fire multiple of these in rapid succession, flicking them was not the most effective method. Then he thought that maybe he didn't need to physically fire the sphere. His train of thought was cut off by a bright orange light in the sky. At first he thought it was the sun, but seeing as how it was moving with a trail of orange fire behind it, he was able to deduce that it was Alex.

"That's it," Danny exclaimed as a revelation came across him.

"What? What's it," Betsy asked in confusion.

"Alright I was thinking, most of the time, Alex doesn't throw fireballs they just fire out of his hands, so I was thinking maybe I can do the same. Maybe instead of throwing or flicking the sphere, I could just tell it to move," Danny rambled at a speed that Betsy almost couldn't interpret.
