"In breaking news, Beloved superhero and Newyorkers member Surge was spotted this morning destroying a building where many high ranking S.H.I.EL.D. and Government officials were having a classified assembly. Viewer discretion is advised as the following images may be shocking," The voice of a local news reporter said out of Betty's phone speakers before the video switched to something else. It was a clip taken from a smartphone that showed 'Surge' charging up a large NG ball between his hands and firing it at a heavily guarded building. The sphere of energy collided with the building, releasing a shockwave that crumpled its foundation and the building began to fall.

"Experts have already confirmed that the video is authentic and was not manipulated or generated by artificial intelligence. Thankfully no casualties came from this destructive act but many have been injured. It is unknown what tempted Surge to do this but the authorities are out searching for him as we speak," The local news continued before the video from the local news studio transitioned to a different one.

"Beloved? What a joke. I gotta tell you folks, I saw this coming a mile away. Young superheroes? Who's goddamn idea what that! This is all because of Spider-Man! That no good wallcrawler wasn't satisfied corrupted our dear big apple on his own so he gathered his crew of lackeys to do his bidding. I want Surge captured and locked up for this act of terrorism!" The voice of J.Jonah Jameson ranted before the instagram clip cut off.

"That's gotta be fake?" It came out as a question every thought Danny was certain that he hadn't blown up a building that morning.

"JJ may stretch the truth a lot but it's usually still the truth. He doesn't spread rumours," Betty responded as she searched up an article with more information on the situation.

"We should probably get going," Kate said.

"Yeah let's go," Peter and the Newyorkers sprinted to where the self-driving car was usually parked. The Newyorkers all grabbed their gear from the car but Peter stopped Danny from getting his.

"You can't be spotted in public right now. You ride in the car with Ned and MJ, we'll meet you at the house,"

"Okay," Danny responded and Peter noticed that he looked visibly shaken up.

"We'll figure this out Danny, don't worry," Peter reassured before Danny got in the self-driving car with Ned and Mj.

Shortly after, The seven teens all arrived at the mansion and regrouped in the basement where Monica and Alex were waiting.

"I take it you saw the news," Peter said as he pulled his mask off his face.

"Yeah, how could this happen?" Alex asked.

"I don't know but Danny didn't blow up that building... right?" Wanda said.

"Of course I didn't, I was at school with you guys this morning and I didnt even know there was a secret Shield meeting today.

"This isn't good at all. Everyone's coming after you Danny. Do we have anything to prove that Danny didn't destroy that building?" Monica asked.

"It's not looking good. I just checked the internet and It looks like whatever happened, happened during Danny's free block," Shuri said as she looked at something on the holographic display from her Kimoyo beads.

"And the library was empty when I was there," Danny added as he lightly banged the wall in frustration.

"Even if it wasn't empty, you're a speedster. It wouldn't matter if anyone saw you cause you could leave and come back before anyone noticed," Kate pointed out.

"Fuuuck!" Danny exclaimed in frustration as he ran his hand through his hair.

Moments later, Monica's phone rang and she quickly picked up.
