Chapter 16: Attack of the Suna Killer

Kushina was happy to see Naruto but was puzzled about why he was leaving. "Naruto?... Why are you going? I just got here?." Kushina said as Naruto was puzzled even more. "But... I just saw you coming into the house!..." Naruto said, but before Kushina could ask Naruto a question, they both heard a scream from Yuma and Yuki. Naruto turned around, burst the door open, and saw that the fake Kushina was a monster with its mouth wide open, about to swallow Yuma. Still, Naruto charged at the mysterious creature and bashed his side into her, causing Yuma to fall and land in Naruto's arms. "Who are you?." Naruto demanded as he put down Yuma. Then Yuma and Yuki saw their natural Mother, rushed to her, and hid behind her legs as Naruto stared down the mysterious creature. The mysterious creature stood up and remained in its Kushina form, but its hair changed to black. "Sorry, I'm here for my hunger, not to chitchat, little boy." the mysterious creature said as it licked its lips and dashed at Naruto, wanting to try and devour him instead. Still, the beast suddenly got sidekicked by an on-timing Kimba, sending the mysterious creature flying through a wall and out of the house. "Please tell me that wasn't MY Kushina..." Kimba said as he was worried. Then he looked at the front door and saw Kushina with Yuma and Yuki. "No, you didn't. It's some shapeshifting creature." As Kimba looked at his wife, Naruto explained, "Kushina, take the kids and get help. Naruto and I will handle it." Kimba said that just as he and Naruto were about to chase after the creature, Kushina approached Kimba. Kushina stopped in front of Kimba with her signature angry temper expression, and her hair spread everywhere. "Sweetie!..." Kushina started as her eyebrow twitched. "I understand you care for our kids' safety and mine, but!..." she said as she leaned forward. "I CAN HANDLE SOME MONSTER!..." Kushina yelled as a sweat drop appeared on Kimba's forehead. "I... I understand, my little rose!..." Kimba said as Kushina calmed down a bit after hearing her nickname from Kimba. "Oh, sweetie, that always calms me down," Kushina said as she kissed Kimba's cheek. Naruto summoned a Shadow Clone, taking Yuma and Yuki to safety and out of harm's way.

The creature stood back up and smiled darkly. "My my... I get to absorb three powerful shinobi, " the mysterious creature said as it cracked its neck, licked its lips, spread its hands, and the fingers turned into monstrous claws. "Now then..." the mysterious creature started as it continued to have a dark smile. "Which one of you three do I get to swallow, eat, and absorb first." the mysterious creature said as he slowly walked towards the house again to the hole it was sent out of as Kushina, Naruto, and Kimba ready themselves to fight it. Still, it got a kunai chain wrapped around its body, yanked back, and rolled onto the floor toward the owner of the kunai chain. "Hi... My invite got lost." Spider said as she kneeled, grabbed the mysterious creature by her throat, and tossed her across the street. The mysterious creature crashed into a ramen stall. Then Kumo appeared with Jiraiya, Sora, Karura, Naruto, Temari, Gaara, Hinata, Tsunade, Kaze, Kankuro, Tayuya, Fu, and Sakura. At the same time, Tenten was left with Shizune to look after Yuki, Yuma, and Hanabi. Just then, the mysterious creature stood back up and looked a bit taller, but suddenly. "You're gonna pay for hurting MY Hisui!..." Tayuya said as she gritted her teeth and narrowed her eyes in anger, but the mysterious creature smirked darkly. "Oh?... So that space girl was your partner." the mysterious creature said as it got ready to strike at the team. Karura quickly looked at Tayuya. "We're talking about what you said later, young lady," Karura said as she looked back at the mysterious creature. "I was going to tell you when Hisui leaves the hospital. Mom!..." Tayuya said as the mysterious creature rushed at Tayuya and caught her off guard. The mysterious creature kneed Tayuya in the stomach and twirled around to back-fist Temari, knocking them down in a single blow, "Hey! no one hits MY Temari!!..." Naruto said as he rushed at the mysterious creature, and the two clashed their kunai and claws at each other. Then Sora and Kaze rushed in to help the mysterious creature, who could keep up with the trio, surprising them, but they didn't relinquish their battle against this monster. They tried to keep up, but the mysterious creature punched Kaze in the stomach very hard and caused him to stumble back. Then Tsunade rushed over and held Kaze in her arms. "Kaze, are you okay, son?..." Tsunade asked as Kaze coughed once, then he looked back. "I'll be fine..." Kaze said as they smiled at each other, but the moment was gone. Naruto and Sora were thrown back and landed a few feet from them. "Naruto!... Sora!..." Kaze said in a worried tone. As the mysterious creature approached them, Karura stepped in.
