Chapter 10: Reunited

Running through the forest with Kaze on her back, Hoshi is determined to return to her base with at least one of her prizes. She uses the trees to escape as fast as possible but comes to a dead end when she comes across the Forest of Death Tower. "Rats... I must have taken a bad turn back there," she said as she looked behind her and ensured no one else followed her. As she slowly walked backwards and got closer to the tower. Suddenly, she got her face kicked from her left side, causing her to fall. Kaze fell off her back, and his body rolled towards the broken wall around the tower, remaining unconscious while Hoshi spit out some blood and stood back up to see Naruto and Temari standing there in fighting positions. "Oh, you brats are just asking for it," Hoshi said as she got into a fighting position, but before she could do anything, an angry Tsunade Shunshine behind Naruto and Temari, Tsunade had a stern expression and her arms crossed. "Where do you think you're going with 'MY' Son," she said as Hoshi pulled out a kunai and got ready. "Oh, you know, taking my prize to feed my hunger," she said as she looked where Kaze was and then back at the others. Hoshi lunged at the trio, and the trio lunged at Hoshi. Meanwhile, back in the village, Minato was having trouble with Hoshi's Blood Clone, and Hiruzen was having a bit of trouble with the First and Second Hokage, trying to get the upper hand on the situation.

Karura and Rasa finally reached the stadium's roof and were surprised to see the sight before them, as they'd never seen a barrier like this before. Rasa tried his best with some Leaf shinobi to remove the barrier, while Karura felt like she was sensing a chakra she hadn't sensed in a long time. As she looked around, feeling where this chakra was coming from, Karura followed the signature as it led her around the corner and headed for one of the Sound Four members. As she approached one of the Sound members, she turned her head at Karura and smirked. "Don't come any closer, lady," Tayuya said as her more minor barrier protected her. She didn't look away from Karura, and Karura stopped dead in her tracks. "Alright, I won't come any closer," Karura said as she crossed her arms and looked at Tayuya. Something about her made Karura think hard as she bit her left thumb, wondering why her chakra signature felt familiar. Tayuya looked away to watch the battle while smirking. Still, she was already annoyed that Rasa and other Leaf shinobi were hitting the barrier after a minute or two, Tayuya looked at Karura once more, seeing that Karura had got closer and was sitting on her knees looking at Tayuya "What do you want anyway? You're not attacking that's for sure." she said wanting to know why Karura is like this. Still, Karura noticed something on Tayuya's left forearm. "Your arm..." She started causing Tayuya's lips to split slightly apart and raised a brow. "Let me see your left forearm." Karura said as Tayuya seemed confused and not sure what to make of this as she was hesitant to show her arm and not sure what Karura was planning; in the Forest of Death, Hoshi is still attacking Naruto, Temari, and Tsunade as they don't give Hoshi an opening to escape "Blast it... Can't you people give me a break." she said but then Temari punched the back of Hoshi's left knee causing her to fall on one knee "Okay there's your break." Temari said as she jumped away, had a smirk on her lips, and opened up her Giant Fan.

Hoshi used her jutsu to try to give her some room. "Fire Style: Dragon Breath Jutsu," she said as she leaned back and forward. Fire came out of her mouth and aimed at the three, but they moved away too quickly that Hoshi couldn't get a hit on them, but Tsunade lunged at Hoshi and sucker punched Hoshi from her right jaw, causing Hoshi to lose balance then. Naruto threw an explosive tag at Hoshi, but she moved out of the way as it exploded, causing damage to Hoshi's body. "AAHH!..." she screamed in pain as Naruto and Temari towered over her, their arms crossed while Tsunade went over to check on her son, but as soon Tsunade held her son in her arms, Hoshi started laughing, causing her to turn and face her "What's so funny?." Naruto said as he seemed very pissed off from everything that happened. "Oh, it's simple," Hoshi said as she slowly sat up and looked at everyone. "I've won," she said, then poofed, reviling to be a clone. Another puff of smoke happened in Tsunade's arms, revealing another clone, causing Tsunade's eyes to widen. "Wait... What!." she said as she stood up and looked around them, but then Temari gasped and pointed at the top of the tower. "UP THERE!." she yelled as Naruto and Tsunade looked at Temari, then turned their gazes to the top of the building, seeing Hoshi with Kaze now over her left shoulder, "Like I said, you lose, your son is mine now Tsunade," Hoshi said. Still, she got a surprise kick from Naruto's Shadow Clone as Hoshi fell to the ground from the tower. Naruto's clone caught Kaze and landed on the ground safely. Then the clone deactivated, and Tsunade rushed over to Kaze, picked him up in her arms, and held him tightly. "Oh, my baby boy," Tsunade said as she looked where Hoshi fell, but she slowly got back up, and what the trio saw shocked them.
