Taking most of the day to reach for the old prison. Jiraiya, Konan, Kumo, Saya, and Kaiso had reached the prison and scanned around the front of it. "This place should be brought down," Saya started. Then, the others looked to their right and were curious about what she meant. "This place feels like too much death had happened here... And this monster is inside that place," Saya said as she held her right arm and felt like they shouldn't be there. Kumo placed her arm around Saya's shoulders and rubbed her right arm. "Hey, we're doing this together, Saya. Just say by me, and I'll make sure this nightmare is over for us," Kumo said. Saya looked to her left and smiled at her mother, and then the team started walking toward the prison with Kaiso leading the way. Back at the Uzumaki household, a lot of things had happened since the adults had left. "Okay, boys! It's dinner time. So please do as we request and make something for our family," Temari said as she playfully smirked and was sitting on the couch with her legs up and crossed. Sora and Naruto groaned as they had been Temari's little butlers throughout the day, only making their cousins laugh for most of the day, and they got on the fun from time to time. Fu was looking after Eiko and Emiko, and she had Menrui in her arms while Fu was sitting on the floor playing with the twins. Temari was watching Fu and couldn't help but notice how much of a mother she was acting, and then Temari spoke up. "Um... Fu," Temari started. Then, Fu turned her head to the left of her and looked at Temari. "Have you done this before? I couldn't help but notice how much of a big mother you've been today," Temari asked as she sat up and looked at Fu and being curious. Fu just smiled at Temari. "Well... Before I left my village. My team and I used to get babysitting missions, though my teammates hated it, but I love doing them. I didn't care that I was seen as a monster. I just showed some of them wrong that I am actually kind and caring, and the way they saw me and how I treated their children made them speechless, and it made some of them change their ways about me," Fu explained. Temari smiled at the thought of being a mother herself and imagined Fu being the perfect aunt figure. Then, Temari thought about something. "So... What made you leave your village? I know what you said to Sora, but I can't help but think there was something more to it," Temari said. Fu looked at her, thinking of a way to get out of this, but she sighed and turned around on the floor while still holding Menrui in her arms. "Okay... I didn't want to say anything until we've dealt with the tall woman, but... I was falsely accused of murdering a group of root shinobi... I was deemed as a wanted rouge shinobi, and I was being hunted down," Fu explained. Temari looked at her with a worried expression.
Temari had thought about it, and then it clicked as she remembered slightly overhearing Gaara talking to Fu one day about being a shinobi of Suna and having some clean slate. Then, Temari smiled. "So that's why you were talking to Gaara that day. You wanted to restart your life in our village," Temari said with a reassuring smile as she was going to be a supporting friend and soon-to-be sister when they married their boyfriends one day. Fu smiled back, and then she suddenly got pounced on by Eiko and Emiko, who were giggling and laughing as Fu joined in and pretended to be captured and defeated by them and being careful with Menrui. Temari couldn't help but laugh while seeing this wholesome scene before her. Suddenly, they heard the front doors open and closed, and they immediately looked over the hallway and saw Kaze standing there and finished with his shift for lookout. "I'm done moping and my shift," Kaze said as he waited for Temari to respond. Temari spoke in a reassuring and soft tone to Kaze. "Hey, just remember we got each other, Kaze. I know it's stressing you out that Hinata isn't here, but know a part of her is still with you," Temari said. Kaze raised a brow and was confused by her words. "What do you mean by that, Temari?" Kaze asked as he walked over to them and stopped beside Fu. Temari pulled out a locket necklace and passed it to Kaze, who took the necklace and looked at it. He looked at Temari. "When were you planning to give me this?" Kaze asked as he felt a little hurt that Temari had this for so long. Temari smiled softly at him. "Hinata asked me to give you it on your birthday. But seeing how upset you were. I couldn't bear the thought of you being this hurt, so I'm giving it to you now," Temari explained. Kaze looked at the necklace again and back at Temari and smiled. "Thank you. I'll be wearing this every time," Kaze said as he put the necklace on him. Then, he bent over and hugged Temari, and Temari hugged him back. Fu smiled at them, and then Temari pulled away and smirked. "Now go get my future husband," Temari said as she went back to her bossy self. Kaze straightened up again, and he playfully rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Alright! Whatever you say, Temari," Kaze said as he turned around, left the living room and headed for the kitchen to get Naruto. Fu and Temari watched Kaze walking away, and then Fu looked at Temari. "You can be so bossy whenever you want to, and none of us would expect it," Fu said as she giggled and looked down at Menrui, who was now sleeping in Fu's arms and snoring peacefully.
