Chapter 49 : Rekindling

Jesse texted me saying "Hey Mariah , I want to come see you. I'm on the airplane to you right now if that's okay with you?.". I replied to his text and said "Yeah that's fine.". He said "Okay I'll be on my way to you soon Mariah. I replied and said "Okay.". I put my phone down. I went upstairs, took A shower, lotioned my body, put my clothes on, and went downstairs. I got a text from Jesse saying " I'm here.". I said " you're on the porch ?". Jesse said "not yet, I'll be on my way to your house soon.". I don't know why I'm getting excited but I'm excited as heck tho. I'm sitting in the living room watching TV until I got A text saying "I'm outside right now.". I got up to open the door and Jesse is standing his tall, fine self right in front of me. I still couldn't believe that he flew all the way over here to me. I let Jesse in the house. Jesse puts his stuff down, came over to me and hugged me so tight. I hugged him back . Oh how I miss his hugs. We stopped hugging and we sat on the couch. Jesse said " Mariah I'm so sorry for everything that I have put you through. You definitely did not deserve that. You deserve love and happiness. Even if we're going to take our time.". I smiled and said " let's vibe until we get back to lovers".
Jesse said "Absolutely ". Jesse and I sat on the couch, watching TV then I felt his hand wrap around me. I smile but I continue watching TV. Jesse said " I love this vibe, Our vibe.". I look at him and smiled. He kept looking at me. I looked at him. At this point we're admiring each other. Jesse licked his lips. He knows how I feel about him licking his lips. That literally have me weak in the knees. Whenever he lick his lips I just think "You know what, just pick me up right now." He leaned into me, I leaned into him. We were about to kiss until I just remembered that we are just vibing. I break from the intimate tension and say " umm I'm going to wash my clothes now.". Jesse said "uhh right okay.". I go downstairs to wash my clothes until I felt hands on my waist. I turn around to see Jesse. Jesse and I are looking into each other's eyes. We started kissing, he picked me up took me into the bedroom and he closed the door.
Six hours later, I woke up I just realized that what Jesse and I did wasn't supposed to happen. But i couldn't help it. My feelings for him are still so strong. Dang, I'm still in love with him. Jesse woke up, made my bubble bath. He put rose petals and candles around the bath tub. I walked in just crying because he is so freaking sweet🥹. I seen the note. I read the note that said "Hey my beautiful Mariah, you deserve after care. I will always be here for you. I love you baby.". I smiled. After all that, I got dressed, went downstairs to see more Roses in the vase. I started crying because this is the love I prayed for. Jesse wrote to me saying " Hey mama, I brought you some more roses. I know it's more than a dozen. This means you are my world and more. Enjoy your day my beautiful mama.I'll see you after work gorgeous I love you Mariah Mama". I smiled so hard the whole day. Jesse knows the way to my heart . Jesse came home from work. I ran and jumped on him in excitement. We hugged and kissed each other. He put his stuff up, went upstairs, took A shower, put his pajamas on, and came back downstairs. I cooked dinner for the both of us. We ate, watched TV for a bit. I went upstairs, took A shower, lotioned my body, put my pajamas on and we went to sleep.
