Chapter 51 : Blast From The Past Pt.1

I woke up first and I was trying to get up but Jesse pulled me closer to him causing me to not get up. I smiled and went back to sleep. We was sleep until Jesse got a phone call. He got up and started going off on whoever was on the phone. All I heard was "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING MY DAMN PHONE. I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU. YOU TREATED ME LIKE SHIT. YOU LIED TO ME. YOU SAID THAT THE BABY THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY PREGNANT WITH WAS MINE, TURNS OUT YOU LIED. NOW PLEASE GET THE FUCK OFF MY PHONE.".  I was shocked. I've never heard him so angry like this before. I stayed in bed a little longer, letting Jesse cool off. I take my shower, lotioned my body, put on my clothes. I go downstairs to see Jesse just sitting there. I'm just giving Jesse his space. I go outside to the balcony and Jesse comes out five minutes after I went out. He said "Why you outside? What's wrong?". I said " I'm just giving you your space.". Jesse sat next to me and said " Oh you must've heard me on the phone.". I said " Yeah I did. I've never heard you in that tone before. It kind of scared me. You're literally so sweet and kind to me.". Jesse put his head down and said " I'm so sorry you had to hear that side of me. I should've never gotten out of character. You taught me to not get angry so quick. Yet, I still got angry that fast.". I looked at him and said " Hey Jesse. Look at me. It's okay. You're human. You have feelings. It was just a little scary hearing your tone in that way.". Jesse looked at me, smiled, and said " Okay Baby. I promise I won't get out of character again.". I said " Now Jesse remember the last time you promised me. You know how that went.".  Jesse said " Yes Mariah I remember. I won't break no more promises that I make.". I said " Okay Honey. I love you.". Jesse said " I love you more Mama.".
