Chapter 65. Thicker Than Blood

It's been two weeks since Touya had woken up and Tenko had been found. They were getting ready to be transported to the rehabilitation facility for the Redemption Program called Redeeming Souls. Today was their last day at the hospital.

I was visiting them back and forth while occasionally looking through files on my laptop and getting work done. Right now, was lunch time and I had taken a break. I got a few snacks and drinks as well as food for Touya and Haru. 

While Touya held Haru on his lap, I started setting food on the small table. But as soon as I did, Touya scrunched his nose.

"Ugh no. I hate fish, you know that Y/N. Why'd you bring that?" Touya pouted annoyed as he covered his nose. Little Haru doing the same. "See even this Giggle-Booger boy thinks so too."

"Oi don't call him that."

Touya laughed amused, as he picked up Haru and twirled him in the air, "Fine, I'll call him Little Smiley, because all he does is smile. That's gotta come from you." he pinched Haru's chubby cheek, who giggled.

"Have you forgotten? You used to smile like Haru." I reminded him. "You were so cute back then."

"I still am, what are you talking about?" he pouted.

I chuckled, "You sure are my Handsome Love Bug."

"Ew I'm no bug." he whined, "Pick something else like your Sexy-Flaming-"

"I'll stick to Love or my Handsome Prince." I ignored him. He sighed with a shrug. I looked through the bag of food I bought and let out a sigh.

"Something wrong?" he asked curiously.

"I should've gotten some cupcakes. I'll text Shoto to see if they can get us some before the nurses bring over Tenko."

"Cupcakes sound good. Text them as long as it's just them joining. I don't want Enji coming." Touya sighed, "Or anyone else. Everyone else looks at me all judging and I can't stand it."

"Touya..." I spoke in a scolding tone, "You'll have to see them again eventually and I've told you already that no one is judging you. If they are, just don't give a fuck."

"Yeah but they want to talk about the past and whatnot, with Shoto it's different. He doesn't look at me like I'm a villain, he actually wants to know about me. He's not a pain like the others."  Touya grumbled.

I walked towards him and kissed his cheek. "Be nice okay."

He sighed with a nod, "I won't be mean to Tenko. Only for you though."

A couple of minutes later, a light knock was then heard. I went to open the door and greeted Shoto.

"Hey Y/N." Shoto hugged me with a gentle smile.

"Hey Shoto. Glad you're here, come on, the food's ready. All we're waiting on is for Tenko." I grinned happily as I went to look at the scrumptious cupcakes he brought. "Oh my god! They're so good! Thank you so much!"

"I also brought soba." Shoto added as he walked to greet Haru and Touya. "It's from this one shop I like going to, I wanted you to try it Touya."

Touya smiled happily. "Now that's what I like to hear. Thanks Sho." Touya gave me a side glance.
