Fallen were the trees, dreams were being chased
Fears were being faced, fallen were tears
Nightmares were present, yet daydreams were here
One life made, one life gone
Still thinking that you're the one
Drinking wine turned to rum
Maybe if I just ran so fast, you'll be goneStained was the shirt you gave
Pouring were the raindrops, they stayed
Flying birds killed, our flawless plan failed
Burning witches, lighting matches
One life sacrificed, hundreds of people died
Still thinking our fates are tiedAnxious and worried about the future untold
Chances that we'll only find fool's gold
Stepped on a nail, our sinking paper crane
A shipwreck of our crane was made
A shadow I once knew turned out to be my baneSomeone that made a significance in my life
Was the one that held the knife
The door I once loved, the winds that whisper
Raindrops fall from above, gave me this blistersA burning coal was given
To us when we weren't Enlightened
In this small town, it hadn't rainedFor it was useless, yet time was spent
A message, to the messenger was sentWouldn't life be better if it isn't always heavensent
