Tony had flown faster than he ever had, truly pushing the suit's limits. When he arrived, they all sprang into action. Tony started having JARVIS scour the globe for Y/N, while Steve called Professor Xavier. It was then that Charles requested the team to come upstate to his school, promising he had a way to find Y/N faster than JARVIS ever could.

That's how all the Avengers ended up at the doorstep of the X-Men's home. This time Scott was at the door and quickly led them all into the parlor room on the opposite side from where Xavier's office was. There were all the X-Men waiting patiently for them. "Professor." Tony said the moment he laid eyes on Charles.

"Mr. Stark, thank you for coming. I believe we can be of assistance." Xavier said as everyone settled into the room. He began to roll away from his spot, towards the door. "If you would be so kind to follow me Mr. Stark." Steve tried to follow, but Charles reiterated, "just Mr. Stark please." Begrudgingly the rest of the team stayed back, Tony heard some small banter between the two groups.

"You think all that bravado and tension in one small room is a smart idea Professor?" Tony said sarcastically as he entered the elevator behind Charles.

"I'm sure all will be fine. At the moment we all have a common goal Mr. Stark."

"Tony. Call me Tony. Mr. Stark was my dad."

"I'm sorry. Tony." Charles corrected himself as we exited the elevator and entered a large bedroom. Tony was about to make a quip but was interrupted when the Professor opened another door off to the side. Tony quickly followed him in, staring in awe at the contrast from one room to another. The previous room, and by in large the whole estate, was very antiquated. Hard dark wood, and deep colors on the walls. The room they just walked into was the total opposite, full of high-quality tech, all chrome and shine.

"Well color me surprised. Nice tech you got here Professor."

"This is Cerebro. It was a pet project of Erik and I. Cerebro enhances my telepathic abilities. With it I can far surpass the radius of which my power can reach, using it there are no limits." Charles said as he stopped in front of a computer with what Tony assumed was an interface helmet.

"So, it acts as a conduit and magnifier in one." Tony deduced, transfixed by the whole idea.

"Precisely. My hope is that I can use it to find Miss. Y/N. It should prove rather easy as I have communicated with her telepathically before, it creates for a much easier picture." Charles says as he picks up the helmet and places it on his head. Tony wishes he could play around with this tech, maybe help them improve it while in turn using the tech to improve his own. Charles turns to face Tony and gives him a small smile, "maybe when all is said and done, we can do just that Tony."

Tony was shocked for a second before remembering Charles' gift. "Alright Professor. Har har... let's focus..."

"Of course. It'll be just a moment. I ask you to please allow me to focus." Charles said as he turned back towards the computer, booting it up and starting up what Tony could assume was the programming. In a flash the screens projected outwards, reminiscent of his own tech, showing the globe. Faster than Tony could comprehend it began twisting and turning, zooming in and out. The speed at which it moved would make anyone dizzy, yet Tony looked at Charles and saw him perfectly still, his eyes closed, with only a small frown on his face. After what felt like seconds, the globe snapped away and Charles opened his eyes. The frown on his face deepening.

"I - I don't understand." Charles said lowly. Tony's anxiety creeped up, like a devil rising to sit on his shoulder.

"What is it Professor?"

Charles turned to look at Tony, "I cannot find her. I – I don't understand. Even if she were unconscious, I would be able to find her."

"So, what does that mean?" Tony said, fearing the worst.
