" Chaeyeon-ah Naky-ah , come here for a moment ", my mom called out
Me and my stepsister , who's younger than me went to the living room and sat on the sofa .
" Yes ? ", i asked
My mom looked at my stepdad for a moment and nodded her head .
My stepdad just heaved a low sigh and said ," You two are transferring school...again "
Me and my stepsister just gave no reaction , we are too used to it . Third time we transferred school this year and it's not even half a year yet .
" Which school ? And how long ? ", my younger sister asked
" WAV High , it's a girl school and you guys will have to go there for at least about 2-3 months before we move out again ", mom said
We just nodded our heads before going back to our room .
Since my stepsister came in , my room had become our room . She would always come inside my room at night because she had a nightmare and we had to sleep together in my single bed . At first i was annoyed and frustrated because it was a bit too cramp and i love my alone time but as time goes by , i actually got used to it .
Everyday , she would just walk inside my room and sat beside me on my bed and i would say nothing . This has become a habit of us that our parents made up their minds that we would be sharing the same room everytime we move out .
You guys must be wondering why we always move out every 1-2 months . Basically , my stepdad job , requires him to keep changing outlet until he finds a permanent place .
We didn't say anything as our dad is the one who provides food on the table for us everyday . I mean he gave my mom an allowance and my mom will buy the ingredients and cook for us the food and place it on the table .
" When will we move out ? ", i asked my stepdad when we were having dinner
" Tomorrow "
Me and my sister choke on our food as we still haven't packed our things yet .
" Slow down dear ", my mom gave both of us a glass of water which we drank quickly
My dad just laughed at our reactions . Even though we are not related , our family still shares a close bond with each other like a real family .
" I was just joking HAHAHA , we will move out next week ", my stepdad laughed mischievously
" Honey , stop joking around , you see the kids almost die from shock ", my mom scolded my dad before kissing him on the cheek
" Ewww , find a room ", me and my stepsister made a gagging sound before standing up from our seats and wash our dishes .
From behind , we could hear our parents laughing hysterically like a child .
" I don't even know who's the older one in our family right now ", my stepsister facepalmed
" Maybe they are just kids in an adult form ", i replied before smiling at our parents childish behaviour
After washing the dishes , we went to our room and packed our belongings .

Fast forward to next week
" We're here ", my stepdad announced
Me and my stepsister looked outside and it was so quiet as if it was empty .
" Are you sure we're at the right place ? ", i asked
