" I'm home ", i announced
My stepsister quickly went down in a hurry , checking me up and down , front and back .
" Did something happen to u ? You look dead ", she asked worriedly
" Yeah , I'm fine , don't worry ", i said , putting my bag aside and sitting on the sofa . She sits beside me .
" So , are u gonna tell me where did u go , why didn't u inform me and why didn't u answer my calls ? I was so worried about you ", she started bombarding me with questions
I checked my phone and saw that it has no battery .
" So sorry , my phone died and i was in a hurry and couldn't find u at school ", i apologise , she's always acting like a mom towards me even though I'm older than her
She just nodded her head .
" Go wash up and come down for dinner . Mom and dad will reach home soon ", she pulled me up and forced me to the bathroom .
I'm too tired to wash up but i don't want to get lectured by her and mom , it's never ending that i had to ask for help from my stepdad but he too will get lectured with me instead .

After school
" Hey , let's play basketball with us today . At least a few rounds if u have to hurry off again ", S8 pleading with her puppy eyes .
Today i have nothing to do as the HC S5 didn't ask for me but dang , my body is too tired from yesterday , I can't even lift my arms so high or i will feel the muscle cramps .
However , I can't keep rejecting the offer . They might end up kicking me out even though i haven't joined yet .
" Sure ", i gave a low smile , informing my stepsister that I'll be back home a bit later
" Lezzzgooo ", S6 and S12 celebrated , hitting my back playfully but i could feel the pain badly .
" Here , newcomer ", S15 threw the basketball at me hardly which i managed to catch it a millisecond before it hit my face .
" Nice catch ", she complimented
After a few rounds , we decided to take a break . I was so embarrassed as i did so badly . Yeah all thanks to the HC S5 .
" Competition coming soon , u should practice more to be a substitute ", S17 said to me frankly
Damn that hurts my pride . I shouldn't have carried her bag yesterday . Now i feel so stupid .
" Hey , don't be soo mean to her ", S8 scolded S17
" Don't mind her , she's just like that ", S8 smiled at me sweetly
Dang , if she smiles like that to other people , they might end up falling for her in no time . I would even fall for her but too bad , i heard she flirts with everyone .
" I have to go now ", i excused myself
I carried my bag and walked out of the school .
