Nien's pov
I knocked on the HC office door three times before waiting for a response .
" Come in "
I opened the door and went inside before closing the door behind me again .
The HC room was so large but looked really plain due to limited furnitures .
In the corner of the room , there's a large cage box where troublesome students were locked inside there as a form of punishment .
In the middle of the room is a very long table and HC S5 was sitting in the middle with HC S1 and S2 by her side .
" Good morning HCs ", i bowed down 90°
I heard the HC hummed in response .
" Hii S13 , it's been so long since u come here ", S2 greeted me joyfully
Out of the three of them , I'm closer to S2 because she's so kind unlike the other two who always stick with their emotionless expression .
One thing about being the head of SC , whatever requests the other students have , the SCs will take note and inform me so that i can relay the requests to the HCs .
" What brings u here ? ", S1 asked me with a monotone
I had done this for so long and i should be used to their tone and expression by now but still it gives me shiver whenever they talk to me .
I calm myself down before gaining the courage to speak .
" A student from the basketball team requested to bring the 4 student nurse in our school along for the vacation next week ", i looked down anxiously
*Silence*
I became more anxious when i heard nothing . I lifted my head up to look at them and I can't tell u how much i regretted doing so .
They were staring right through me and i felt intimidated .
" Why do we need the 4 student nurse ? ", S1 asked on behalf of S5
I was taken aback by the question because i just relayed the message without thinking much of it since S19 was begging me to bring them along .
I quickly tried to think of something reasonable .
" There's 20 of us going for the vacation and if any of us are to get injured , at least we have the student nurse to take care of it ", i smile proudly at my quick witted reply
" So why do we need all 4 of them ? ", she questioned again
" Because there's many of us , one wouldn't be enough to treat all of us ", i tried to convince them
" Yeah that's actually reasonable ", S2 nodded her head
However , it was not as successful as 2/3 of them is smart enough to know that I'm tricking them .
" Are u expecting all 20 of us to get injured ? ", S1 looked at me as if I'm the dumbest human being alive
I just looked on the ground again . I guess it's not going as well as I expected .
" If there's nothing more to add on , u can leave ", S1 released me
I bowed down my head before taking my leave when suddenly , for once , i heard S5 speak up .
" Do u really want the student nurse to tag along ", she asked
I quickly turned around and nodded my head excitedly .
" Sure i can allow however....", my ears perked up when i heard the however part
" However ? ", i asked nervously
...........
After a while , i finally left the HC office .
My heart was beating rapidly . Did i choose the right choice ?
" Hey Capt ! ", i was suddenly greeted by the cheerful face of S7
" Hey ", i smiled back reluctantly
" Are u ok ? You looked tired ", S8 asked me worriedly
" Y-yea , I'm fine ", i nodded my head
" You know u can lighten your burden by sharing with us right ? ", S8 held my shoulders and gave a gentle press on it .
This made me feel more regretful about my decision .
" Let's go to class now before we are late ", S8 intertwined our arms and skipped to class together
Seeing S8 finally being back to her old self made me really happy but i guess it won't last that long...i really made the wrong choice...
P.s The next chapter , it will take place at Hawaii !! Be ready guys because there will be lots of drama and tear-jerking scene .
