" Guys...me n S11 has something to say to y'all ", Kaede said nervously
Both of them looked anxious and were very fidgety .
" What is it ? ", Jiwoo asked , looking worried at her friends
Both the girls were communicating with their eyes before Kotone gave up and took a deep breath .
" Me and S9...we actually secretly joined the dance club...", Kotone looked down
" So what about it ? ", Nien questioned them because she also joined the student council club even though she's already in the basketball team .
" The thing is...we both got chosen for the dance competition...which also means that we can't attend the basketball tournament tomorrow...", Kaede looked down also , fidgeting with her fingers .
The once cheerful atmosphere changed to an awkward one .
" But we can just reject the offer if y'all want ", Kotone smiles sadly
Yubin just relieved a heavy sigh ,
" What do u mean reject the offer ? You two have always dreamt of joining the dance competition so why would u reject it just for basketball ? "
" Yeah she's right . You guys have done enough for us , now it's time for y'all to enjoy the things that u love and don't worry about us ", Jiwoo added with a sincere smile
This is why their teammates love their vice-captain , they are not only amazing in sports but also thoughtful and understanding of their teammates .
" Yeahh , I'm so proud of u guys ! ", Xinyu hugged them tightly
Everyone started joining in for the hug except for a specific person . She was just smiling at their friendship .
" Why are u there ? Come in ! ", Hayeon called for Nakyoung
Nakyoung was hesitant at first but since they insisted , she went in for the hug and for the first time , she felt the warmth and comfort of having friends .
" Hold on ! ", Kaede released herself from the embrace .
Everyone looked at her confusedly .
" How bout y'all ? Our captain for sure can't participate due to SC duty , S6 and S12 will not be back till next week because of their volunteer camp . And now both of us also can't participate ", Kaede announced
Everyone became silent . She's right . If the 5 of them are missing , it will lead to only 5 of them left . And if one of their teammates got injured or something urgent came up , they will not have a substitute which will be a disadvantage .
Nien looked around seriously . Scanning each and everyone faces before an idea came up .
" I have an idea ! We can put in S3 , S8 , S15 , S17 and S19 in court first , and u two , can be a substitute first . ", Nien looked at the two sisters but only one of them looked excited
" I know u want to join the SC , but if u do me this one favor , I'll recommend u to the HC ", Nien smiled at Chaeyeon
Chaeyeon's ears perked up after hearing what Nien had just suggested .
" It's a deal then ", Chaeyeon put out her hands which Nien gladly shook it .
" Deal "
" So the problems are solved , everyone please go back home and have enough rest tonight . Tomorrow is the competition and u know what will happen if y'all lose right ? ", Nien said , she looked both worried and serious .
She doesn't want her friends to be the victim of the whole school , that's why she can be very harsh on them at some point of time .
But thankfully , everyone understood her good intentions and just nodded their head .
