The Wheeler House
Will's POV
"What!" I look over at Nancy yelling at Mike. "You can't go to California by yourselves!" I can't believe Mike wants to take me to back to Lenora and he wants to go with me. I mean he does have a point. I didn't feel Vecna in California and only started feeling his presence in Hawkins. What if does get better if I go back? Maybe Vecna will stop torturing me and stop pretending to be Mike.
"Guys!" Jonathan stops Mike and Nancy from arguing. "You haven't even asked Will what he wants. This is about him." I'm not sure what to say. I don't want to leave Hawkins but I think it'll be better for me. What am I thinking? I'm being selfish. I have to think about Mike. He wants to come with me. What about school? His parents? Holly? There's so much he has to leave behind for me.
"I-I'll go but Mike is not coming with me," I say looking over at Mike to see what he has to say.
"Can we talk real quick?" he whispers to me.
"Uhm ok," I reply and he pulls me upstairs. We exit the basement and I wait for Mike to talk.
"Will," he looks down at me. "Please. I can't let you go alone. Just let me come."
"I can't, Mike." I reply looking up at him.
"Why?"
"Because you have to leave so much behind for me. I don't want you to do th-"
"Will, I would leave everything behind for you. You're my best friend. Just let me come. The party will handle everything here in Hawkins. Don't worry." Mike smiles at me. That melted my heart. It's only recently that he's been saying things like this and I love it.
"Okay," I smile back.

Mike's POV
Will and I walk back into the basement and everyone is staring at us. It's really awkward. Once we get down the stairs, Will starts talking about how he agreed to take me with him to Lenora. The whole time I keep glancing at Nancy and Jonathan. They don't look very happy.
"What about your little sister?" Robin asks me. "Holly, right?" God I feel bad now. I should be looking out for my little sister who's sick.
"Shit," I'm not sure what to do. "Can someone take care of her?" I look around and no one looks interested. Then, someone speaks out.
"I'll do it," Erica blurts out. "I'll take care of Holly." Wow. I never expected Erica to volunteer. I look over at Lucas and he looks shocked to his core. I try not to burst out laughing from the look on his face.
"Thanks, Erica" I smile at her. "Now for the hard part. Convincing the parents."
"Wait hold on kid," Steve says looking at me. "So you're saying after all this you still haven't asked your parents?"
"Uhm no?" I reply.
"Oh my god, Mike" Dustin says looking at me disappointed. I guess Steve have a point. I should've asked them before.
"How about we ask Joyce first?" El suggests. That's not a bad idea. She'll probably agree and maybe even help convince my parents.
"Yeah, we should do that" I look at El. Everyone is agreeing. Even Will, but Jonathan and Nancy still aren't on board with it.
"Will, there's no way Mom is going to let you and Mike just go to California by yourselves. You know that." Jonathan says.
"She might" Will responds.
"She won't, Will" Nancy says. "And neither will Mom and Dad, Mike. Which is why Jonathan and I are coming with you."
"What?" I look up at Nancy.

3rd Person
"They have a point, Mike. You guys are only 15 and you are planning to go to a whole state by yourselves. That's not happening," Steve says.
"C'mon, Steve. Why are you agreeing with them now?" Mike whines.
"Because I'm not gonna let you guys get hurt," Steve replies.
"Yeah, Mama Steve can't let her children get hurt," Robin laughs.
"Ugh, how many times do I have to say it, Robin! They are not my goddamn children!" Steve yells at Robin.
"The point is we are coming and you can't do anything about it," Jonathan states.
"What about college?" Will asks.
"Fuck college. This is way more important," Nancy exclaims.
"Yeah" Jonathan agrees.
"Ughhh" Mike whines.
"Mike, I think we should let them come," Will looks at Mike.
"Fine," Mike responds.
"Then it's settled. Jonathan, Will, Mike, & I are going to California." Nancy says.
"Wait, where are we going to stay?" Jonathan asks.
"Mom was talking about how she hasn't been able to sell the house in Lenora yet. I think we can stay there. We just have to make sure she doesn't sell it," Will replies to Jonathan.
"Okay we have to go talk to Mrs. Byers," Nancy says and everyone nods.
"Oh shit. The people at the hospital are probably wondering where I am," Max says.
"Shit! We've gotta go! Hope everything goes well" Lucas exclaims. "C'mon, Erica." Lucas and Erica try to get Max up the stairs, but it doesn't go so well so El ends up helping. Dustin, Steve, and Robin leave after them.
"How about we talk to Mom tomorrow since it's getting late?" Jonathan suggests and everyone agrees. Not long after, Will and Jonathan leave.
