It's been days since I found out.

It's been a very, very amazing seven days actually.

I've been hanging out with my friends like my life depends on it before I leave for North Carolina. I can tell that Cash and Aiden are of course happy for me, but they still seem to be shocked by the whole thing.

Honestly, I am too. It's so sudden, so overwhelming but yet so exciting.

Apparently Carter is out of the hospital by now. We forced Cash to call him, and he didn't pick up the phone.

I have no idea where he is. I couldn't give a damn either way if he was living on the streets.

I think Cash is keeping this hidden from me so that I don't stress out before I leave, but Stirling is getting more powerful. And he needs to be stopped as soon as possible before he truly becomes too much.

That's why I've decided not to stay in North Carolina for the full week, like I had once planned. I'll get my memories back, then most likely fly in the next day.

I've been calling Mason every day.

We can't meet up since I'm too busy with my friends and apparently his mother is checking in on how he's doing. He says she's not flying here, but her calling him is already too risky for him to go out in public. Apparently she likes to show up unannounced.

So we've been just talking on the phone every day. We usually find ourselves getting lost in conversation like we usually do, and before I know it, hours have passed by. Sometimes it's disturbing how easy it is to talk to him.

I think I've thanked him about a million times.

Each day that has gone past has grew my excitement for what's to come. But it has also grew my pure fear, my terror of what I'm going to remember.

I'm not sure I'll be able to handle it.

I'm most likely going to break down in tears. No- I know I will. Getting fourteen years worth of memories isn't just something I can shrug off.

I'm petrified.

I already made an appointment with Evelyn Cassidy, and I already paid for it. So there's no going back now.

Now I find myself entering the plane in first class.

"This plane looks too fancy," I tell Mason through the phone, exploring my eyes around the private section. We're the only ones supposed to be in here. My eyes land on the food bar. "Oh! There's salad, Mason. And steak!"
