STAR

I love you like I love the stars.
I could stare at you for hours feeling the silence of my solitude.
I admire how you shine up in the night sky and shower me with drizzle sparkling light.
I could feel the calmness and security it brings.
But then again, your light comes from the sun.
I'm just an extraordinary young girl whom wishes upon you, that one day you will be mine.
I love the star despite the fact that I'm not the reason that it shines.
I love you despite the fact that I could never have you.

I hope one day, I will be the reason you'll shine.
