"What's going on here?"

In front of Aphros' house, many eyes turned to the newcomer who had parked the car outside, as it was blocked by another car in front of the house. The voice came from a tall, dark-skinned, dignified man whose appearance resembled that of Phra Phai so much that one could imagine what the elder brother of the house would look like when he grew older. He scanned everyone until his eyes stopped at his younger brother.

"Hello." greeted a woman, but it wasn't Aphros who answered, it was June, who clasped her hands in a polite wai with a smile, as if she held the upper hand.

"Why are you here again? Wasn't I clear enough last time, June?" said the mother of Phrao Plerng, stepping forward. Her face, usually smiling and kind or lamenting when she knew her children were out and about, now looked stern as she spoke to June, whose expression faltered slightly.

"Is it wrong for me to come see my husband?" June retorted.

"Ex-husband, June. It's the past now. Aphros and you are divorced, and last time I was very clear that our family has nothing to do with yours anymore. Everything ended when you signed the divorce papers," said Phi Orn in a calm voice, while Plerng fidgeted, wanting to add to his mother's words but held back by his father's gaze.

"But that was after we found out how much Aphros was worth, and my daughter deserves a share after the divorce!" June's mother retorted loudly, fully supporting her daughter, causing Phi Orn to sigh.

"June, last time I made it clear that the assets you had someone dig up about my brother..." Phi Orn glanced at June's mother to indicate that she knew who had dug up everything, then continued: "...whether it's the land Aphros owns, the shares in the company, this house, or whatever else, it's all property Aphros had before marrying you. Legally, it's personal property. Even the condo you took was bought before the marriage. I don't know what fantasy you have about how much a director earns, but my brother is just an average worker. In the past five years, he hasn't made as much as you think. But he gave you twenty million, even selling his shares. And this doesn't count the monthly money you took from him. If you want to split marital assets, why not calculate the money Aphros gave you monthly? I'm sure you'd end up owing my brother." Phi Orn spoke reasonably, but June raised her head defiantly.

"Do you think I'd believe what you say, Phi Orn? Of course, you'd take your brother's side."

"June, speaking like this isn't nice. When you married him, you said you'd be a good wife to Aphros. But what I've seen over the past five years is that you've gotten worse every day. Do you realize that?" Phi Orn's voice grew firmer.

"Mom's scolding like this means she's really angry. Believe me, you don't want to make her mad. Listening to a sermon is more fun than hearing her talk." Plerng whispered to Paint, who was pale and staring only at the person beside him, who in turn was fixated on the photograph in his hand.

"Aphros." Paint grabbed his arm, causing him to glance momentarily.

Just that little gesture made the ex-wife whip her head around. "You say I'm this and that, but do you think this boy is better than me? He's worse. At least I didn't go hugging and groping other men!" June screeched, taking another photo and shoving it into Phi Orn's hand. "If you don't give me what I deserve, then I won't let Aphros be happy either! Look closely. How is the boy your son chose for my husband better than me?" She screamed loudly.

Phi Orn looked at the photo in her hand, frowning and glancing at the pale Paint before passing it to her husband.

"With evidence like this, you still support him? This family is insane, letting your son be gay and even encouraging his uncle to take his friend's gay lover as a wife." June's mother and daughter mocked Paint relentlessly, driving him to his limit.
