In the living room, where the sound of movies was blaring loudly from an expensive stereo, Paint could only sit stiffly for a long time because someone was laying on his lap. Gradually, he turned to lean on the sofa and relax too. Paint may have quickly gained some trust with Aphros, but he felt like they were not that close to let his Phi laying on his lap.

He tried to get him up several times, but he came to the conclusion that if he wanted to survive, it was better not to insist any further. Paint noticed that when Aphros walked back into the room after the phone call, he looked stressed. Paint didn't know if it was because of that phone call or something else, but he felt the urge to help him somehow, so he allowed him to rent on his lap without arguing any further. It was something no one would have expected because one time, Paint's sister and brother did the same thing and they had to beg him too.

[ T/n: Paint's sister is called Pai, meanwhile his brother's name is Ruup. They are twins and both younger than Paint. ]

It may sound like he was comparing Aphros to school students. Even though both of Paint's siblings were full-grown adults, they had this habit: if one of them got something, the other had to as well. Whenever his sister would come to lean on Paint's lap while watching a film together, his brother would come and steal her sport, declaring that if Picture could do it, so could he.

Maybe, because of that, Paint agreed to sit still and let Aphros lie on his lap. At first he was still tense and stiff as a wooden plank, but after a while, his familiarity with being a pillow made him adjust quickly. Thinking about Aphros as if he was his little brother makes him relax more. His eyes returned to the screen again, then after half the movie, he realized that the person who he thought just shut his eyes to rest them... actually fell asleep. Even though the explosions in the action movie thundered deafeningly, Aphros didn't move an inch. Only his chest was rising rhythmically as if he was in deep sleep, while his crossed arms tightened for warmth against the cold air-conditioning and he also rubbed his cold hands together for a bit of extra warmth.

"Ah, Phi?"

"..."

"Are you asleep?" Paint asked a few more times, and got no response, so he leaned over to look at the person who was lying sideways facing the Tv screen and noticed his prominent nose bridge.. he almost envied it.

Reaching out to touch. "Are you sleeping?" Even though he touched his nose and dared to gently squeeze it, Aphros didn't seem to be aware, which made Paint smile.

Aphros made Paint feel like he was with Plerng. Even though his close friend was a teasing person who used to hold the motto "anything goes if it's fresh" and used to change partners too often. But he was like that because, actually, he was an adorable person, a charmer who knew what he had to do to get what he wanted, so he acted so endearingly that no one could bring themselves to hate him. Plus, he was a loyal friend. If he considered you as a friend, he would fight for you, tooth and nail. Even though Paint pretended that morals had no effect on him, in the end, he would often relent and give in to Aphros.

As for Aphros... he was a grown-up man who had everything going for him. He seemed perfect, but he ended up making him smile gently when watching him sleeping.

Paint had no intention of waking him up, just like he said earlier. But he had the idea to have a closer look at his friend's uncle more clearly. Aphros was a big man, definitely taller than Paint who was already considered quite tall. Just by stroking his head, Paint could feel like he was tiny. Even though Aphros liked to say he was old, his face didn't show it at all. He was almost forty, but his skin was still youthful, but It didn't make him look inexperienced.

Aphros' figure didn't deteriorate and his shoulders were so wide that Paint had to lie on his side to support his legs, revealing the other side of his neck, allowing him to reach out and play with it. Actually, Paint was afraid that Aphros could wake up with a sore neck.
