Eight Hours Earlier

"Hey, Andrea, can you help me with my hair?"

After finishing the morning class and finding out that the afternoon class was canceled, Paint asked his close female friend, who was having lunch with him, with a sense of hesitation. Andrea raised an eyebrow slightly before making a mischievous face.

"I thought you weren't going to ask."

"My roots have all turned black." Paint turned away, raising a hand to touch his hair.

The wood gray color from two months ago had changed to brown, and the roots near the scalp were almost entirely black. He tried to ignore the teasing gaze of the beautiful girl who was laughing heartily.

"I didn't say anything. Besides, Plerng left you in my care."

"Plerng?"

"Yeah, he told me to make you look fabulous." Andrea laughed, mentioning another friend who, as soon as the class was over, rushed back to his room, saying he needed to soak in a mineral bath to prepare for the evening. He left them to have lunch together but made sure to leave instructions before leaving.

"Alright, trust me. I won't ruin the reputation of the person who made our faculty's stage play a success. It was all my work." Andrea stood up confidently with her plate.

Maybe because Paint wasn't quick enough, she snatched the plate from him and strutted away on her high heels to put it away. "Come on, let's make you look handsome."

Then, the close friend who had done Paint's hair two months ago (since a salon visit would cost no less than three thousand baht) dragged him to her car and drove straight to her house. She washed his hair and made him sit in front of the mirror. Then, Andrea enthusiastically worked on his hair.

"I haven't played with anyone's hair for a while. Drew doesn't let me do his hair." Whether she wanted to help or just for her enjoyment, after several hours, Paint looked at the mirror in awe, just like every time his friend did his hair.

"All skill, my dear friend."

The hair framing Paint's face had been bleached and dyed to a consistent wood gray color, making his handsome face look brighter, reducing the intensity of his eyes, giving a fresh, confident look that matched his face perfectly.

"Amazing, right? I used only the best products for your hair."

"How much do I owe you for the hair dye?" Paint was still excitedly touching his new hair color.

"Don't worry about it. I bought a lot, and there's plenty left. But I'm thinking of going back to black and heading to Moscow soon. My aunt says black hair and gray eyes suit me best." She said while pushing Paint back into the chair, then quickly styled his hair into place. "Next, we need to talk about clothes."

"Hey, I don't want to trouble you that much." Paint quickly protested, looking at the clock, which showed it was almost five.

But Andrea didn't listen. She walked over to a bag by the door and started laying out clothes on the bed. "What do you plan to wear for dinner with Aphros?"

"Uh, jeans, a t-shirt, and a jacket." Paint hadn't told his friend how excited he was, but he had prepared his outfit since last night, thinking it would be okay.

But Andrea looked thoughtful. "That jacket? It's nice, but overall, it looks a bit too young." She said, comparing several shirts while talking.

"I'm not sure how Aphros will dress, but probably more mature. I don't want my friend to look like he's having dinner with a relative. This one might be better. It should fit you perfectly, a bit snug, but it'll show off your lean, attractive figure. It's respectful but not flashy. It suits you well. I guarantee you'll look great." She grabbed a casual shirt and held it against him, making Paint blink in surprise.
