"Pai, tidy up the pillows."

"Oh, Mom! Phi Aphros has already seen our house when it was a complete mess. Cleaning up now won't make a difference."

"When I say tidy up, you tidy up."

"Okay, okay~"

"Just 'okay' is enough. When I ask Paint to do something, he's more willing than you. Pai, you're a girl, you know."

"But you never made Paint do all the housework alone," Pai grumbled.

In Paint's house, Ruup was sitting at the dining table with their father, resting his chin on his hand, watching his twin cleaning the house as their mother instructed, even though the house was already spotless and everything was in its place.

Paint was very organized, and usually, it was their mother who left things lying around, but this time she was ordering everything to be tidied up because... Aphros was coming over.

"Mom, you don't have to clean so much. He's just coming to invite us to eat. He might not even come inside the house." Ruup said, earning a scowl from his mother.

"But he might."

"Dad, help me out here." Pai pleaded with their father, who was playing on his phone, and he grinned.

"Admit that you lost to me in bowling last time first."

"But Ruup and I beat you, Dad."

"I don't know, I didn't hear that. If you don't admit defeat, I won't help."

Ruup sighed deeply because the only person who could handle both their parents was Paint. The young man didn't mind that his older brother was dating an older man, as he had been rooting for them from the beginning. Plus, Aphros had promised him that he would take the best care of his brother. That reassured Ruup, who had been worried when his brother had a crush on the brainless neighbor.

Now, he respected Aphros even more. When Paint was about to tell their parents, Ruup was more anxious, ready to protect his brother, but everything went smoothly. His brother, who dedicated himself to making everyone in the house happy, was finally happy. But sometimes, Ruup felt a little possessive of his brother.

Before, Paint would spend all his school breaks at home, but this past year, he had been staying at his phi's house a lot. However, Ruup convinced himself it was okay since they weren't married yet. They were just dating, not living together all the time. But if they were to get married...

He'd be so lonely.

The younger twin, who was attached to his brother but didn't want to show it, sighed. But if he had to choose between his brother's happiness and his own possessiveness... he'd choose his brother's happiness.

"Ruup, come help me out." Pai asked.

"No way, I'm too lazy."

"Mom, look! Ruup doesn't have to do anything, and you don't say anything." Pai protested.

"That's because Ruup's a boy."

"Paint's a boy too!" Pai whined, not understanding why her twin didn't have to do housework.

"Well, Paint is the eldest. How could he not help Mom?"

"That makes me feel so sorry for Paint." Pai pouted while her older twin sighed.

Honestly, what would happen if this house didn't have me? Would everyone end up fighting all the time? Paint thought as he turned to look outside, just as a familiar car pulled up.

"Mom, Aphros is here."

"Oh no! Dear, do you think our house looks clean enough?" their mother shrieked, turning to ask her husband, who was still bitter about losing the bowling game during Songkran, while Pai dashed out of the room, clearly avoiding the situation.
