The morning of the first day of the semester was bustling with students arriving at the university. Some were still sluggish from the New Year break, some were excited to see friends they hadn't met for months, and some were complaining about the packed class schedules that had started right away. Emotions varied widely, just like in Plerng's group.

This prominent group of friends, even as third-year students, was led by Plerng, a small-framed young man with reddish-brown hair and a cute face (which he confidently believed was on a universal level). His slightly teasing personality, charming demeanor, and cheerful, friendly attitude made him beloved by both phi and nongs. Everyone knew that it was best not to get on his bad side for the sake of their safety and belongings.

Next was Andrea, a beautiful half-Russian girl with captivating gray eyes and a figure that made men drool. Despite being courted by many, no one had managed to break through her barriers, especially with her handsome engineering student brother acting as her protector. Though Andrea was known for being easy to befriend, no one had ever moved beyond the friend zone.

Lastly, there was Paint, a tall and handsome young man with large, deep-set eyes and a serious demeanor. He had been a target of many girls' affections during his first year, but his disinterest in anyone in particular led to widespread speculation about his sexuality, a mystery that remained unsolved.

When these three friends were together, many eyes from the Communications Arts students couldn't help but turn to them.

"I wish the break was another two months long." Plerng said.

"Not satisfied with being with Sin yet?" Andrea asked.

"Yeah!"

But none of them paid attention to others' gazes while Plerng grumbled, resting his chin on his hand and looking toward the Faculty of Law building, murmuring about someone who was probably with friends at that same moment. Andrea teased him amusingly, eliciting a shameless response from the small-framed young man.

"Andrea, don't you think it's strange?"

"Yeah, no one's objecting."

But when there was no usual reprimand, the beautiful girl and the cute young man turned to look in the same direction... at Paint.

"Hey, Paint! Hey, Paint!"

"Huh... What? What did you guys say?"

Andrea was the one who slapped Paint hard on the shoulder, making the daydreaming guy startle and turn to face them, revealing that he hadn't heard a word they said.

"What's wrong with you?" Plerng asked.

"Nothing."

Plerng knew Paint was lying. The past two days had been too eventful to say nothing was wrong. Last night, Paint couldn't sleep, not because he was excited about the new semester, but because he kept thinking about what Aphros had told him. Trying to close his eyes, all he heard was... "I like you"... making him unable to sleep.

And then there was the matter of cutting ties with Phi Gus. Just these two things alone were enough to say that something was wrong. Seeing their friend's demeanor, the other two exchanged glances, and Andrea poked his cheek.

"Spill it. Don't make me investigate because if I do it myself, you'll be sorry."

"There's nothing to tell," Paint brushed off because his thoughts hadn't settled enough to share.

But his two friends replied in unison: "We don't believe you!"

"What's with you guys?"

"Well, it's unusual. Every time I say 'do it,' you scold me and tell me to be more reserved because we're under the faculty building," Plerng commented, resting his chin on his hand and smiling knowingly, making Paint look away.
