"Did our marriage truly mean nothing to you?" Anaisha choked out through her tears. "Did it ever matter at all? I trusted you completely, I placed all my faith in you, and this is how you treat me?"

<Flashback>

Reyansh's face went ashen, and his eyes widened. He stared at the others, his expression one of pure horror.

His hands trembled, his body shaking involuntarily. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and his breath came fast and ragged as his gaze darted around the room, taking in the shocked faces of the people present. He opened his mouth to speak, but the words seemed to stick in his throat, and all that came out was an incoherent croak.

Reyansh desperately tried to regain his composure, taking deep breaths to calm himself down. After a few tense moments, he finally managed to speak, his voice laced with remorse.

"I...I made a mistake," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "A huge, terrible mistake."

"Please, Anaisha. I...I'm so sorry," Reyansh's voice trembled as he knelt before her in the limousine, his head bowed and his hands grasping at her ankles.

"I never meant to hurt you. I...I made a terrible mistake. Please, please forgive me," he begged, his voice choked with a mixture of guilt and desperation.

Despite the shock and confusion she felt, Anaisha's heart ached at the sight of her best friend, so vulnerable and remorseful. She desperately wanted to comfort him, to tell him it was going to be okay. But at the same time, she couldn't help but feel scared and confused by his confession.

Anaisha reached out tentatively, her hand hovering for a moment before finally resting on Reyansh's head. Her voice was trembling as she spoke, "What...what happened? What did you do?"

As Reyansh looked up at Anaisha, the remorse in his eyes was palpable. He held her gaze for a moment, his expression pleading for forgiveness.

With a deep breath, he started to speak, "Anaisha, I...I don't even know where to begin. I...I messed up. I did something terrible, something unforgivable."

Anaisha's eyes softened at this tone and she soothingly whispered to him, "I have known you for so many years now. I have been with you through your highs and lows. But, I've never seen you like this. Trust me, Rey, I won't say anything. Tell me."

Reyansh felt a pang of guilt as he realized that Anaisha trusted him more than he did. He knew that in order to earn her forgiveness, he had to tell her the whole truth, no matter how painful it was.

Taking another deep breath, he spoke, his voice cracking with emotion, "I met someone in the gala. Someone who knows the entire truth. The truth behind our marriage."

Adhir's booming voice filled the room, shattering the tense silence. He couldn't bear the suspense any longer, shouting at his younger brother,  "Speak up, boy. Speak up."

Reyansh felt pressured by everyone's expectant stares, and he knew he had to reveal the truth, no matter how long it took. Taking a deep breath, he began talking, his voice low and steady, slowly recounting the entire painful story.

As Reyansh finished his tale, he saw the disappointment clearly etched on each person's face. Their widened eyes and parted lips indicated the shock they all experienced due to his confession.

Reyansh looked towards Anaisha, his heart sinking as he saw her pale face and vacant stare. She looked almost like a ghost, her complexion drained of all color as her eyes seemed to stare into the distance, unseeing.

Anaisha forced herself to compose herself, taking a deep breath and steeling her emotions. Her heart ached, and tears threatened to spill from her eyes, but she fought them back, fiercely wiping away the few tears that had managed to escape.

She refused to meet Reyansh's gaze, and instead turned her head away from him, her expression hardening. She silently commanded herself to maintain her composure and act as normal as possible in the presence of the others, despite the turmoil of emotions raging within her.

She stood up abruptly and walked over to Reyansh and said, "Fix this. I don't give a f**k how you do it. Or, you'll see a version of me that the world hasn't seen yet."

Reyansh looked surprised at her speaking to him and nodded his head silently.

With a stoic face, she passed by him without sparing a glance and left him and the room.

"Are you brothers so unworthy of trust?" Aahana scowled and fired off a biting comment.

Aahana's biting remark echoed through the room, causing Rudra's fists to clench in anger. Keeping his emotions in check, he calmly went to their closet, trying to collect himself.

"Should I also add mute and useless to the list as well?"

Rudra closed his eyes and screamed calmly as well. "Add trashy also."

Aahana shot him a side-eyed glance and retorted, "I added those words a long time ago. Except Abheer isn't trashy. But, you three, God knows and you know."

Rudra walked up to her, his voice flat as he spoke, "You know, if you wanna kill Rey, do it. I won't stop you."

"Yeah right. The next thing, I know I'm in jail." Aahana passed him a fake smile.

Rudra caught her wrist in a swift motion and turned her towards him. Aahana was startled and she screamed, "What the-"

"Don't. Just answer this. How are you so calm after knowing that Anaisha and Rey's marriage was useless? Is this sarcasm a defence mechanism?"

Aahana hastily pulled her hand apart and stepped back. "To answer your questions, I'm calm because I know Anaisha and I know what she'll do. So, I'm not worried. Everyone will get what they deserve. You, me, Ana, everyone."

"And if she doesn't do anything?"

"Then, I'll do what I think is right."
