Chapter Twenty Two: Remember

Patrick's P.O.V.

I was at Disney having the time of my life.......

I wish Ryan was here with me. I could not wait to get back to Kansas and officially have Ryan living with me.

" Hey, man. You okay." Travis asked me.

" Yeah, I just wish Ryan was here with us," I said looking at him.

" Yes me too. As much as I want her to be here with us I know that work means everything to her. I am just glad I was able to get her to come to our games and see us win the Super Bowl." He said as we sat down.

"I am glad you did that too. I asked Ryan to move in with me." I said to him.

"That's great news! I am so happy for you guys." Travis said full of happiness.

I knew I was in love with Ryan and wanted to be with her for the rest of my life. I know we only have been together for a couple of months but I knew I wanted to marry her.
I just needed Travis's blessing and her family's blessing.

"Hey man can I ask you something?" I asked not sure how he would react to the question but I also knew he would most definitely agree.

"You can ask me anything man."He said looking at me.

"I want your blessing in asking Ryan to marry me," I said looking at him. Travis bumped his fists in the air and screamed.

"YEAH BABY!"He shouted causing everyone to look at us.

"What is going on here?" Ava asked walking over to use with Yuna dressed as Ariel.

"Look Patty, Travy, I am Princess Ariel!" She said spinning around to show. Yuna was the cutest little girl ever. Seeing her made me want to have kids with Ryan one day.

" Awww look at my little girl," Travis said softly picking up Yuna. Over the few days we have been in Disney Travis has gotten extremely close to Yuna and I could see that Ava was happy.

"What were you guys talking about when we walked over, "Ava asked sitting down next to me.

"I am thinking about asking Ryan to marry me," I said as Ava's face lit up and Yuna looked over to me.

"OH MY GOSH, NO WAY!"Ava said happily. " I call coming with you to pick out her ring!"

"Me too," Travis said looking at me as Yuna spoke

"Me too Patty!" She said to me. I smiled at the time I was happy knowing they all supported me. I wonder what Ryan is doing right now.

Ryan's P.O.V.

I had never given much thought to how I would die. I opened my eyes and looked around I was lying in a hospital bed. How did I get here? What happened?!

I looked over to left and I saw Luke sitting next to my bed with his head in his arms.

I lifted my hand and ran my fingers through his hair as he stirred in his sleep.

He lifted his hand before looking at me in shock.

"Oh, my Lord. You're awake! How are you feeling?!" He said softly brushing my hair out my face.

"I feel like death," I said smiling softly as he laughed. "But what happened?"

"Ryan you were in a car accident. You were on your to the store when someone hit you. You have no idea how scared I was when I got the phone call from the hospital." He said looking at me with so much sadness.

I looked at him but I couldn't help but feel like something was off. Like there was something wrong with him. Like things had changed between us.

"Well, I am here now. When can I get out of here." I asked him wanting to get out of the hospital.
