In the main room of Senator Amidala's apartment, Anakin stands, meditating under the star-lit night. It is quiet, the only sound is his calm breathing and the gentle brush of wind. Distantly, footsteps are heard in the corridor outside the apartment. Suddenly Anakin's eyes pop open. His eyes dart around the room. He reaches for his lightsaber as he tries to sense the intruder's presence. Though, he then smiles and puts it back in his belt.

The doors to the apartment slide open, and Obi-Wan enters.

"Captain Typho has more than enough men downstairs. No assassin will try that way. Any activity up here?" Obi-Wan checks a palm-sized view scanner he has pulled out of his utility belt. It shows a shot of Artoo by the door, but no sign of Eva's bed.

"What's going on?" Obi-Wan asks, his brows furrowed.

"She covered the cameras. I don't think she liked me watching her." Anakin reveals.

"Yeah, because who would like being watched as they sleep," Eva rolls her eyes, huffing.

Anakin chuckles at her exasperation.

"What is she thinking?" Obi-Wan asks, incredulous.

"She programmed Artoo to warn us if there's an intruder." Anakin informs the disgruntled man.

Eva is seen asleep in her bed, lit only by the light of the city outside her window through the blinds. Artoo stands in the corner of the bedroom. His power is off.

"It's not an intruder I'm worried about. There are many ways to kill a Senator." Obi-Wan's voice is heard from off-screen.

"I know, but we also want to catch this assassin. Don't we, Master?" Anakin's voice follows.

Now, Anakin and Obi-Wan are seen.

"You're using her as bait??" Obi-Wan asks. Knowing Anakin's affection for the girl, Obi-Wan is shocked that Anakin would use her as bait for the assassin.

However, his next words diffuse his shock, "It was her idea... Don't worry, no harm will come to her. I can sense everything going on in that room. Trust me."

"It's too risky... besides, your senses aren't that attuned, my young apprentice." Obi-Wan raises his eyebrows at his Padawan.

"And yours are?" Anakin shoots, irritated by his Master's lack of belief in his skills.

Just like his on-screen self, Anakin scoffs at his Master's usual underestimation of his level of his power and skill. Time and time again he has tried to prove to his master that he's powerful, strong, and capable of becoming a Jedi Knight, yet Obi-Wan still believes he has much to learn. No matter what he says, nothing can prove to him that he's ready, and because of that, Anakin has grown frustrated with his Master.

"Possibly," Obi-Wan shrugs, unbothered by the boy's irritable tone.

...

Zam Wesell is seen standing on a skyscraper ledge. She loads the cylinder carrying the deadly Kouhuns into the Probe Droid. She sends the Probe Droid out into the Coruscant Night.

...

Anakin and Obi-Wan continue their conversation, moving out onto the apartment's balcony.
