Chan and Hyunjin were walking down the halls, on their way to the library.

It was clear that the silence was awkward, but they decided to keep it that way, well atleast Hyunjin did.

"You excited about your new schedule?" Chan joked, making Hyunjin throw small punches at his arm.

"You asshole! You knew all along that I was going to be your tutor."

"Yeah, I did know. But it was so fun watching you hide it. I couldn't say anything to that."

The younger male rolled his eyes, entering the library first and also closing the door on Chan's face.

"You have some nerve." Chan whispered as he gave the librarian his library pass.

The two quickly went into a quiet space after finding the books that they needed.

Hyunjin began with the lesson, teaching Chan about the basics of the subject they were studying.

As he taught Chan, he often noticed the older stealing glances at him every so often. He even caught him staring at him for a good minute or two, but he chose not to say anything.

"Chan, do you get it?" He said, making the other snap out of his trance.

"I-I.. yeah. I think so."

"Right, so uh, what was the first question?"

"What first question?"

"Chan.." Hyunjin sighed, closing the book and sitting it to the side.

"Sorry, math isn't my best subject and it never really was."

"That's why I'm here, you need help and I'm going to give it to you. But you need to do your part by listening, I can't just keep doing all the work for you."

"That's actually not a bad idea."

"Focus."

Five minutes later, Hyunjin couldn't admit it but he knew Chan was right.

The boy had no idea what he was doing, and Hyunjin had no idea why he was passing math every year if he couldn't even do a simple world problem.

"I think it's time we take a break, first period is about to start and I can't be late."

"I have a better idea."

"Chan..."

"It'll only take a couple of minutes, we'll be back in no time." Chan gave the most sweetest smile ever which softened Hyunjin's heart.

As Chan and Hyunjin were walking inside the place that the older suggested, Chan had his hands covering Hyunjin's eyes.

The younger male was hesitant but said nothing, trusting Chan with what little trust he had.

Chan removed his hands from Hyunjin's eyes, "You can open now, we're here."

Hyunjin looked around, it was an arcade. A stupid, stupid arcade that was filled with kids all over the place.

His blood was boiling as he turned around and glared at Chan, who was smiling like an idiot.

"A fucking arcade Chan?" Hyunjin yelled loudly, as he couldn't hear a single thing with all the people there.

"Told you I had a better idea."

"Yeah, that's stupid!" Chan sighed, grabbing Hyunjin's hand and dragging him over to the games.

For the first few minutes, Hyunjin stood there with a frown on his face while Chan won prizes for him. (He didn't know they were his)

He still was bitter for missing out on his school lessons because he knew how mad his parents would be at him, but he liked the idea of spending time with Chan.

"Give me the ball." Hyunjin mumbled, taking the ball from Chan.

"You don't even know what you're doing." Chan said, laughing at Hyunjin who was trying his best to shoot the basket ball into the hoop.

"You think you're better than me?"

"Watch this." Chan stood behind Hyunjin, with his hands on top of the younger's hands.

"Lift your arms up, and... There we go." He cheered when the ball finally made it into the hoop.

The way hyunjin was blushing like a maniac, you wouldn't be able to tell him apart from a tomato.

Sure, he didn't mind Chan touching him like that, he thought of it as a friendly gesture since he needed help anyway. But he felt so relaxed in Chans arms, and he was surely going to tell seungmin all about this.

"I.. Thanks."

"So, can you finally admit that I'm better than you in basketball?"

"You'll never be better than me, you couldn't even make it the first few rounds."

"You were distracting me." Hyunjin rolled his eyes, grabbing Chan's hand to yet another game that they can compete against each other in.

This was pretty much what they did for the next hour, of course they weren't going to miss the whole school day, but they were having so much fun that they almost forgot they were still in school.

"I told I could do it! I won! I won the whole game!" Hyunjin ran around, jumping and cheering.

"I know, I saw you." Chan smiled sweetly at the boy.

Moments like these were when Chan admired hyunjin. His light brown eyes were sparkling and his smile lit up the whole room.

He was so whipped for the boy and didn't even realize it, which is why he had to be careful.

"Now that I have proven my game skills to you, I'm sure it's time we head back. My parents are going to freak if they find out I missed half of my classes." The younger said, checking the time on his phone.

Chan nodded and followed hyunjin out of door, making sure to give him all of his prizes.

minnie:
