"Why the hell isn't he picking up? It's been hours.." Chan paced back and fourth, while his two friends watched.

"Relax man, it's not like he's dead.." Minho chimed in, trying to calm Chan's nerves.

Chan being nervous was an understatement, he didn't know whether to scream, cry, or punch a wall.

He isn't the type to be so possessive, or jealous, or even protective over someone he liked, because that was simply not his place.

But something took over him whenever he was reminded with anything that had something to do with Hyunjin.

It wasn't his fault he was going crazy over him..

"Chan, Chan, the more you worry, the more you're going to drive yourself insane.. get a grip."

"Don't tell me to get a grip you idiot, he could be lying in a ditch for all we know and we're just sitting on our asses as if nothings happening."

"He was with Felix and the rest of his friends, they've kept him out of trouble so far.. you shouldn't be too worried." Changbin said, clearly taking notice in chan's behavior.

Like hell he could stop being worried, he was obsessed.. not that he would ever admit that..

That's where the story really starts, Chan being crazy over Hyunjin not replying to one text, his friends trying to keep him sane.. Amazing right?

"Im crazy..? Im not crazy right? I'm sane.. I'm calm.. I'm not worried, I'm just overthinking, overreacting."

"I bet Hyunjin's sitting in his room right now, not even thinking about you, and you're just pacing around this room crying like a little bitch." Minho chuckled, expecting chan's reaction to be crazy.

"Shut up you dickhead, let him feed in to his delusions. Just because you don't like his friends doesn't mean he doesn't." Changbin said, nudging Minho's arm.

"Why do you have to side with him all the time? He's clearly overreacting, and it's not like they're dating. He just can't accept the fact that hyunjin probably forgot about him."

"That isn't like him.. he wouldn't just read my text and not respond."

"Maybe he's just tired of you, I honestly don't blame him."

Changbin snatched the box of cigarettes away from Minho, rolling his eyes before turning his attention back to the troubled male.

Even if Chan wouldn't admit it, Minho's words really got to him. What if Hyunjin did forget about him? What if he got tired of the mixed signals that Chan sent him?

"Hey Minho?"

"Yes Channie~"

"Do me a favor and shut the hell up, okay? You know nothing about Hyunjin, and your bullshit comments are only making things worse."

"Ouch" Both Changbin and Minho stared in shock at Chan's sudden outburst. Minho meant to make Chan annoyed, but he didn't mean for him to go too far.

Chan got up to leave, not wanting to speak with ether of the guys. Instead, he made his way into the kitchen, but just his luck, Minho came following after him.

"What is your problem?"

"My problem? You're the one talking about Hyunjin as if he's not a person. If you were smart enough, you could see that he's not that type of person to just go ghost."

"I am smart enough. I'm smart enough to see when my friend is acting like a complete dumbass over a damn boy!" Minho scoffed,
putting out his cigarette and stomping over it, leaving it crushed into pieces on the floor.

As the two argued, Changbin came into the room, and just then, the doorbell rang. The argument was cut short, and both of boys quieted down, ready to see who was on the other side.

It wasn't a surprise that it was Felix, Changbin had recently invited him over. But what was a suprise, is when both Jisung and Hyunjin snuck behind him.

Chan locked eyes with Hyunjin, but the younger looked away fast, not wanting to build anymore tension.

"Woah..?"

"I know." Felix smiled, taking a seat next to Changbin on the couch. The older male wrapped his arm around him.

"How'd you guys convince him into coming?" Minho glanced at Hyunjin, who was awkwardly standing over to the corner.

"We didn't, he wanted to come himself."

"That's surprising."

"How is it surprising..?" Hyunjin finally spoke up, causing everyone in the room to go silent.

"I mean, you didn't talk to him, and didn't show up. Sounds like you're a coward." With those words, Chan perked up, he frowned at Minho.

Jisung nudged his shoulder, trying to get him to stop talking. Meanwhile, Chan was getting heated by Minho's small comments that were thrown towards Hyunjin.

"What did you just say?"

"I said he's a coward Chan. He didn't call, didn't text, didn't let you know if he was okay. Sounds like he was trying to go ghost."

And with that, Chan lunged at Minho. Just before he could get a hit in, Changbin was pulling him away.

"What the hell dude?"

"Don't talk about him like that!"

"I didn't lie!"

"Guys, both of you calm down. Minho what the hell bro?"

"I'm just telling the truth, he didn't call or talk to him for days, and we had to listen to him mope around. He drove Chan crazy!" Minho, ran his hand through his now messy hair.

Chan walked into his own room, slamming the door behind him. He was too upset to even acknowledge that Hyunjin and the others were still out there.

The brunette on the other hand, didn't know what to think about the whole situation. He knew that Minho wasn't very fond of them yet, but that didn't mean that it still didn't make him feel bad.

"Hyunjin... don't take it to heart, yeah? Minho.. he's just not good at.. being nice." Changbin spoke, trying to ease the tension.

"Bullshit, I know how to be nice."

"Alright, I'm going to take Minho out for a walk, you three can stay here and figure out all of this.." Changbin hit Minho on the back, that was his way of telling him to leave.

Once the two left, Jisung, Hyunjin, and Felix stood there in awkward silence.

"Jinnie.. are you alright?"

He snapped out of his thoughts, looking directly at Felix. He didn't know what to say, and the words wouldn't come out. He just slightly nodded.

"Don't let Minho get to you.. he's always been like this.. maybe you should try talking to Chan? Maybe make him feel better..?" Jisung rubbed Hyunjin's back.

"... yeah.. I should." The two other boys that stood there couldn't get another word out, Hyunjin was already on his way into Chan's room.

Although Hyunjin didn't show it, they knew he was upset by Minho's reaction. But they also didn't want him to believe what Minho said.

Hyunjin has a life too, and he can't always be there. Chan just got a little clingy, and he thinks he's entitled to some time alone with the younger boy.
