18 - ashamed

It's common for two so-called 'sworn enemies' to end up doing something that you might regret.

You guys would just go back to your friends, and act like it didn't happen.

But for Jisung and Minho it wasn't that easy to just let go and forget each other.

Minho had attachment issues, and he was becoming very attached to Jisung. Jisung wanted it to be something that they kept on the down low, and wouldn't care to explore more and look for more options.

So it was very obvious those two things did not match up well with each other.

It wasn't that Jisung didn't care about Minho's feelings, he would kill to be with a guy like that.. Considering that has been his crush for the longest.

He was just scared of heartbreak, and watching other people's relationships end because of that made him wonder.. maybe a bit too much.

"Well this is a shocker." A male voice said from behind, which startled Jisung and made him drop his phone.

The male voice in particular came from Hyunjin, who was leaning onto the male's door frame, staring at his phone.

"W-What are you talking about?

"Chan-Hyung just messaged me asking if we wanted to come to the soccer tournament this afternoon?"

"Ah, the one Minho told me about." The black haired boy mumbled.

"You guys have been talking a lot more then I thought you would have.." Hyunjin walked over to Jisung and took a seat on his bed.

"I guess you could say that."

"You know, you still haven't told me what happened that night at the party."

"Nothing happened, he stayed in the room and we talked. There's nothing wrong with that?"

"Jisung. Minho isn't the type to just sit down and talk to you, especially when you're playing a game like 7 minutes in heaven."

Hyunjin glared at the boy, who became more nervous.

Jisung was indeed embarrassed, and although all they did was make out he was still ashamed. His parents had never taught him to do something so extreme like that, and for him to do it only made things worse.

"We kissed.. More than once. I-I don't know jinnie, I guess I'm embarrassed?"

"Embarrassed? Anyone would have killed to go for that, you don't have anything to be embarrassed about."

"My parents would be so disappointed if they found out. This whole time I was supposed to be focusing on my studies, but I got caught up in my mind."

"Jisung there's nothing wrong with enjoying the moment. You'll have regrets but atleast you know you had fun and you did it for yourself. Don't push yourself until you break."

Hyunjin had never seen this side of Jisung. The younger was always so outgoing, and agreed to everything that had something to do with being wild.

He was grateful that Jisung was showing this side of him that he'd never seen before. It made him think that he became more trust worthy.

"I'm not even sure if I can trust Minho.. I mean, his mouth is ruthless and if anyone hears about what really went on, they'll all look at me differently."

"Isn't that what you wanted? For everyone to stop treating you like your some sort of loser and
outcast?"

"You don't understand.. If Minho tells anyone, the whole school will shame me, it can get to the teachers and eventually my parents will find out. I'll basically have no life after that."

"Just try not to overthink so much, I'm sure Minho won't tell anyone?" Hyunjin gave Jisung a small hug before bidding his goodbyes.

He hated to see the state his friend was in, and he wished he could help. But he didn't know how too, Minho was indeed a playboy and he didn't trust him aswell.
