14 - jealous, jealous, boy

"You think they'd be done right now?" Seungmin said, drinking what looks like a cup of punch.

"They should be, Jisung's smart enough to not let it go as far as he wanted to." Hyunjin said.

"Damn I wish I would've been us, it's been so long since I.." Jeongin stopped in the middle of his sentence when Seungmin slapped him on the arm.

"You guys are unbelievable."

"You shouldn't be talking, don't think I didn't forget about you and your little boyfriend trying kiss right in front of me."

"We weren't about to kiss and he's not my boyfriend, we were just messing around." A little smile crept up on Hyunjin's face as he thought about what happened.

Sure him and Chan were getting closer, and they've been talking more, but that doesn't mean that they were dating.

Not that he's never thought about it before.

"I just can't believe they're actually making out, Minho's always been against us and now all of sudden Jisung's about to lose his virginity." Jeongin chuckled.

"He's not going to lose that yet, maybe Minho changed his mind about us."

"I'll believe it when I see it."

A couple of minutes later, the crew split, some drinking, others playing party games, but as for Hyunjin he was left alone.

As he walked through the house, he hoped to have bumped into Chan. He didn't know a lot of people, and none of them seemed like his type of crowd to hang with.

But as always, he bumped into someone else.

"Shit, im really sorry. I should've been paying attention to where I was going." Hyunjin bowed to girl who stood in front of her, she did the same thing as well.

"No im sorry, I wasn't paying attention like at all." When he stopped to get a closer look at the girl, he realized who she was.

"Hey, by any chance, have you seen Chan? I've been meaning to talk to him but I've yet to find him." She sighed.

"N-No.. I've been looking for him too."

"Oh well if you're looking for him I might know what you need, all the guys are playing that ping pong game upstairs." She pointed the the stairway.

Thanks, not that I needed that.

"Oh, well actually.."

"Oh! There he is, see ya!" She smiled, and waved, before rushing over to the blonde who standing by the doorway the whole time.

Hyunjin stood there, watching the two.

"Chan, can we please talk?" She said, wrapping her arms around his neck before he snatched them right off.

"Fuck off Soojin, I'm not doing this with you right now, especially not here."

"Don't act like you're too good for me now, just a year ago you were begging for me to come back."

"That was then and this is now."

"When did you become so stand off-ish? Can't you see that I'm trying my best here? I want you back, I want us to be okay again."

"I don't owe you and explanation or shit else. Can't you just let the past be the past?"

"Well unfortunately for you Channie, that will never happen.." Before he could do anything, Soojin grabbed his chin, and kissed him.

All Hyunjin could do was stand there in shock of what was happening right in front of his eyes.

Was this for real? Why wasn't Chan doing anything about it? Was all of this some kind of joke he pulled?

As tears were streaming down his face he quickly wiped them, walking away to the front door.

If he couldn't handle this, he might as well leave.. Right?

He pushed pass everyone, he didn't care if they were staring at him as he ran. He had to get out of there as soon as possible.

But what he didn't seem to realize, was that Chan was chasing him, calling his name as they both ran out together.

Hyunjin stopped when he felt he was running out of breath, trying his best to regain control of his own body.

All of this over one stupid boy, having a panic attack over a playboy who his friends warned him to stay away from.

What was happening to him?

"Hyunjin! Are you okay?" Chan tried his best to hold the weak boy up, only to get pushed aside.

"Was this all some game to you? Taking me out on that date? Texting me everyday late at night? Was this all part of your plan to humiliate me?"

"Of course not, what are you talking about?"

"I saw you kissing her.. T-That girl, that stupid stupid stuck up brat."

At this point, he couldn't even control his crying.

"Hyunjin, please.. That's not what happened, you've got to believe..."

"And to think I ever liked a heartbreaker like you, I should've listened to my friends when they told me to never hang out with you." The boy covered his face as more tears streamed down.

"Y-You liked me?"

"L-Look just forget about it okay? J-Just go back to your little rich friends, and your-your snobby little girlfriend and leave me alone.."

"You know I can't just leave you here like this.."

"Chan just l-leave.. Please?" Chan sighed, walking away as he cursed himself.
