Quietly making her way into the nursery, Courtney sighs as she sees Leah curled up in the rocking chair, fast asleep. Making her way over to her, she carefully drapes a blanket over her body and leans down to kiss the top of her head as the blonde lets out a small whimper. It's been a little over an hour since Amanda left after spending time comforting both Leah and Courtney separately and assuring them both that they just needed time and they would be okay.

'Court...' Leah mumbles groggily as Courtney turns to make her way out of the nursery.

'Just me, bubs... I was just bringing you a blanket so you didn't get cold. I'll leave you alone again though.' Courtney says.

'I'm sorry.' Leah almost whispers, reaching out to grab onto Courtney's hand.

'You've got absolutely nothing to apologise for, bubs.' Courtney says gently squeezing the blonde's hand as she turns to face her.

'I've been horrible to you.' Leah replies.

'You've been going through something absolutely horrendous, Le. Honestly you have nothing to apologise for.' Courtney says.

'You've been going through it too...' Leah replies quietly.

'But you're my priority and if I need to be the punching bag while you're grieving then that's okay. I can deal with that.' Courtney says causing the blonde to cover her face with her hands. Immediately she begins sobbing, her body shaking with each sob as Courtney bends down in front of her.

'Hey... I've got you. What do you need? Do you want me to go? I don't want to upset you more.' Courtney says softly.

'Please don't leave me.' Leah cries and instantly the brunette wraps her arms around the blonde.

'I'm not going anywhere, bubs. I'm right here, right here.' Courtney says softly. Burying her head in the crook of the brunette's neck, Leah sobs as she grips onto Courtney's t-shirt.

'Do you need any painkillers or anything, bubs?' Courtney asks softly, her hand gently brushing across the blonde's back as she lies with her head on her chest.

'No.' Leah replies quietly. They lie in silence for a few minutes, the moonlight peeking through the curtains illuminating the room enough for Courtney to see the way the blonde's grip remains tight against her shirt.

'I loved our babies too, you know... I know you overheard me speaking to Wally but I just- I want you to know that I do love our babies, I always have and I wanted them so much.' Courtney says and Leah nods her head.

'I never wanted you to have a termination because I didn't want our babies, I just- I was so worried about you, Le. I had never seen you that ill and it really threw me. I'm sorry if you ever thought that I didn't want our babies because I did, I really did.' Courtney continues causing the blonde to let out a sigh.

'I know you wanted our babies... I have never doubted that you wanted and loved our babies, Court.' Leah replies.

'How are we even supposed to start telling people?' Leah asks quietly.

'Well your mum already knows and so does Wally... We could ask them to just let people know so that we don't have to?' Courtney suggests.

'Mm... I have the group chat we could post in as well, I just- I don't really know what to write. Will you help me write something? We can do it together?' Leah asks and Courtney nods her head.

'Of course, bubs. There's no pressure to tell people right away though, we can wait until we're ready.' Courtney says softly.

'Kyra messaged me yesterday to ask how I felt about doing one of those bump cast things... I think for my own sanity I need people to know.' Leah replies and Courtney nods her head.
