The days that followed them coming home were some of the hardest either of them have experienced. Together, they told the girls and although Tilly and Charley are still a bit too little to fully understand what it means, Bunny completely understood. She wasn't going to get the little brother she so desperately wanted. They've been sent so many beautiful bouquets of flowers that their house currently resembles a florist.
'Bubs, I've brought you some toast and a cup of tea...' Courtney says as she makes her way into the bedroom where Leah is curled up in bed. Similarly to the first trimester, Courtney has taken over with the kids because mentally, Leah is unable to even get out of bed most days.
'I will get up today.' Leah mumbles as Courtney places the tray of food down on the bedside table and shakes her head.
'You don't have to, bubs. No pressure. Take this all at your pace.' Courtney says leaning down to kiss the top of the blonde's head.
'I do... It's not fair that you're having to deal with the girls on your now.' Leah replies.
'Hey, look at me... Physically and mentally you've been through a lot. You're still going through a lot. So if spending time in bed is what you need then that is perfectly fine. We will work through this. You're not going to want to spend the rest of your life in bed, it's just for now and that's okay.' Courtney says softly watching as tears fill the blonde's eyes.
'Come here...' Courtney almost whispers as she leans down to wrap her arms around the blonde.
'I just want it to stop... I just want our babies back.' Leah sobs.

She's sitting on the sofa in a little world of her own while the girls play nearby when a knock at the front door pulls her from her thoughts.
'Mumma, someone's at the door.' Bunny says and Courtney nods her head.
'I know, Buns. I'll just and go see who's there.' Courtney replies pushing herself up off the sofa. She makes her way to the front door and opens it to reveal Kim standing, a small smile on her face.
'Oh hi...' Courtney says.
'Hey... I just thought I'd pop by and see if you wanted me to take the girls for a couple of hours? Give you and Leah some space for a bit and give the girls a bit of a distraction for the afternoon.' Kim offers.
