On the tenth floor of the model agency, Feyverk had left, leaving Betty and Camilla alone. The atmosphere was heavy with anticipation, and the steel walls of the experimental room seemed to amplify the tension. Betty paced nervously, glancing at Camilla, who stood by the door with her usual composed demeanor.
"Camilla," Betty began, her voice tinged with a hint of desperation, "will you help me if I'm in terrible danger?"
Camilla's eyes met Betty's with an icy stare. "I have my orders, Betty. My job is to follow the plans of Ozias. Nothing more, nothing less."
With that, Camilla turned and walked away, her heels clicking against the steel floor. Betty watched her leave, trying to quell the rising tide of fear within her. She wasn't used to feeling this vulnerable. Feyverk, her friend and ally, had been defeated, and now she was alone.
Meanwhile, in another part of the building, Ozias was sitting by Celine's bedside. The room was dimly lit, and the air was thick with the scent of antiseptic. Celine lay there, her breaths shallow and labored. Ozias watched her, his face etched with worry and desperation.
"Celine, I still need answers," Ozias said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Celine's eyes fluttered open, and she looked at him with a mixture of sadness and resignation. "Ozias, I'm going to die in less than a day. There's nothing more I can do for you. You're strong. You don't need my help."
Ozias clenched his fists, his frustration evident. "But there's so much I still don't understand."
Celine closed her eyes again, her voice growing weaker. "Find your own path, Ozias. You have the strength within you."
Back on the tenth floor, Betty was trying to calm herself. She took deep breaths, her mind racing through potential strategies. She knew that running away was not an option. She had to face this head-on.
Soon enough, Katrina, Tisha, and Yara arrived, their footsteps echoing through the corridor. They stepped into the room, their eyes locking onto Betty. The air crackled with tension as they faced off.
"So, here we are again," Katrina said, her voice steady.
Betty nodded, trying to keep her fear from showing. "Yes, here we are. But this time, I won't go down so easily."
Yara stepped forward, her eyes narrowing. "Why do you keep doing this, Betty? You're fighting a losing battle."
Betty clenched her fists, her voice tinged with desperation. "I have my reasons. And I won't let you stop me."
With that, the battle began. Betty raised her hands, summoning a monster from a nearby mannequin. The mannequin twisted and warped, growing larger and more menacing. Before long, there were dozens of them, each one a terrifying adversary.
Katrina, Tisha, and Yara sprang into action, their movements fluid and coordinated. Katrina charged at the nearest mannequin monster, her fists crackling with energy. She punched it with all her might, shattering it into pieces. Tisha used her ring to unleash a series of powerful energy strings, hitting the monsters with precision. Yara's shadow moved like a living entity, wrapping around the mannequins and crushing them with dark tendrils.
Despite their best efforts, the sheer number of monsters was overwhelming. The room was a chaotic mess of flying debris and frenzied attacks. Katrina ducked under a swinging arm, delivering a powerful uppercut to another monster. Tisha's energy strings created a stunning light show as they struck their targets, reducing the mannequins to rubble. Yara's shadow tendrils snaked through the room, tearing apart mannequins with precision and grace.
"Keep pushing!" Katrina shouted, her voice barely audible over the cacophony of battle.
The trio fought with everything they had, but the mannequin monsters seemed endless. For every one they destroyed, another took its place. Betty watched from a distance, her eyes filled with a mixture of fear and determination. She knew she had to do something to turn the tide.
Betty raised a magical antenna, twirling it expertly. The air around her crackled with energy as she pointed it towards the remaining mannequins. The antenna glowed with a fierce light, and suddenly, the mannequins multiplied, filling the room with even more adversaries.
Katrina, Tisha, and Yara exchanged a glance, their expressions hardening with resolve. They knew they had to find a way to stop Betty and her creations.
"We need to destroy the antenna!" Tisha shouted, launching another energy string blast at a nearby mannequin.
Yara nodded, her shadow tendrils slicing through the air. "Keep them busy! I'll go after Betty!"
With a swift movement, Yara darted towards Betty, her shadows weaving through the battlefield. Betty swung the antenna wildly, trying to fend off the attack, but Yara was too fast. Her shadows wrapped around the antenna, yanking it from Betty's hand and flinging it across the room.
Betty stumbled back, her eyes wide with fear. She tried to reach for the antenna, but Yara's shadows were already encircling her, tightening their grip.
"It's over, Betty," Yara said, her voice cold and unyielding.
Betty's eyes flicked to the side, where Katrina and Tisha were finishing off the last of the mannequins. She knew she was cornered, but she wasn't ready to give up yet.
With a desperate cry, Betty raised her hand, summoning another wave of energy. The room was filled with a blinding light as the remaining mannequins disintegrated, leaving only the four combatants.
Katrina, Tisha, and Yara joined forces, their expressions determined. "We're not going to kill you," Katrina said, her voice firm. "But you're going to tell us everything you know."
Betty's eyes filled with fear and resignation. She knew she had no other choice. The battle was over, and she was defeated.
As the trio caught their breath, they looked around the room, taking in the aftermath of the battle. The mannequins lay in pieces, the magical antenna shattered, and the pocket mirror and bracelet were safely in their possession.
They sat down in the office, their bodies aching from the fight. Despite the exhaustion, they couldn't help but laugh and joke, the tension of the battle giving way to relief and camaraderie.
"We did it," Tisha said, a smile spreading across her face.
"Yeah," Katrina replied, her eyes sparkling with triumph. "We did."
Yara nodded, her expression serious. "But this isn't over. We need to find Ozias and put an end to this."
They knew that the battles ahead would be even more challenging, but they also knew that together, they could face whatever came their way. With determination in their hearts and strength in their souls, they prepared to confront the next challenge in the labyrinthine depths of the model agency.
