Summer was just beginning, and the trio noticed it with the sudden increase in temperature. The heat was oppressive, and the air felt heavy and thick. Even early in the morning, the sun blazed down relentlessly.

"We need to cool off," Feyverk said, wiping sweat from her brow. "How about a trip to the spa? It's the perfect place to relax after all our adventures."

Tisha and Katrina exchanged glances and nodded eagerly. The idea of a spa day sounded like heaven.

"Sounds perfect," Katrina agreed. "Let's do it."

They got ready quickly, packing swimsuits and other essentials before hopping into Feyverk's car. The drive to the spa was pleasant, with the windows down and the warm summer breeze flowing through the car. They chatted and laughed, enjoying the freedom of the open road.

"Remember that cactus monster?" Tisha said with a chuckle. "I still can't believe it exploded like that."

"And the goo," Feyverk added, grinning. "It was everywhere. Good thing we're heading to a place where we can properly clean up and relax."

The spa was a serene oasis amidst the bustling city, tucked away behind a wall of lush greenery. They parked and entered the building, immediately enveloped by a calming atmosphere. The air was filled with the soothing scent of lavender and eucalyptus, and soft, ambient music played in the background.

A receptionist greeted them with a warm smile. "Welcome to Serenity Spa. How can we help you today?"

"We'd like the full treatment, please," Feyverk replied. "We've had quite a week."

The receptionist nodded and guided them through a series of hallways adorned with tranquil artwork and soft lighting. They were led to a cozy room with plush chairs and soothing décor.

"Please, make yourselves comfortable," the receptionist said before leaving.

The trio sat down, and soon, a team of spa workers arrived to wash and massage their heads. The sensation was heavenly, and they felt the stress of their recent battles melting away.

"This is amazing," Tisha murmured, closing her eyes.

After their head massages, they received hand massages and manicures. The spa workers were meticulous, making sure every detail was perfect. Their hands felt rejuvenated, the tension released from their muscles.

Next, they were led to a sauna. The heat was intense, but it was a different kind of heat—dry and purifying. They sat on the wooden benches, sweat beading on their skin.

"This is the life," Feyverk said, leaning back and closing her eyes.

They chatted and relaxed, letting the sauna work its magic. However, their peace was interrupted when Katrina noticed something odd. Two simple flowers were moving across the floor.

"Uh, guys?" she said, pointing.

The trio quickly dispatched the flowers, squashing them underfoot. They shared a quick laugh, brushing off the interruption as a minor inconvenience. They continued to enjoy their time in the sauna until they were called for their next treatment.

They were guided to a small pool with bubbling water, the gentle jets massaging their bodies. It was the perfect follow-up to the sauna. They soaked and chatted, feeling their muscles relax even more.

But then, they saw those flowers again, moving in the water. This time, there were more of them, and they had to get out of the pool to avoid being entangled.

"This is getting annoying," Tisha said, shaking the water from her hair.

"Let's take care of this quickly," Feyverk said, her eyes narrowing.

They battled the flowers again, making sure to eliminate every single one. It was a strange sight—three women in swimwear fighting off seemingly harmless flowers—but they handled it with the same efficiency they applied to all their battles.

Once they had cleared the area, they noticed more flowers causing disturbances in the lobby. The spa had emptied out, leaving only the trio and the pesky plants. The flowers varied in size, some as small as daisies, others as large as sunflowers, but all of them were animated and aggressive.

"Looks like we have a bigger fight on our hands," Katrina said, cracking her knuckles.

They launched into battle, moving with precision and teamwork. Tisha used the bracelet's power to accelerate their movements, dodging attacks and delivering quick blows. Feyverk utilized her fireworks, sending bursts of energy to incinerate the flowers. Katrina fought with her fists, each punch sending petals and leaves flying.

The flowers had special abilities that made the fight challenging. Some released spores that created illusions, making it hard to discern friend from foe. Others had vines that lashed out like whips, trying to ensnare the trio. But their combined skills and powers proved too much for the floral attackers.

After a long and exhausting battle, the last of the flowers were defeated. The lobby was littered with petals and stems, but it was finally quiet.

"Is it over?" Tisha asked, breathing heavily.

Katrina nodded. "I think so. Let's get back to relaxing."

They called the receptionist, who apologized profusely and assured them that the spa would handle the cleanup. The trio was then led to a spacious room with several pools of varying sizes, including a large one in the center. The room was beautifully designed, with large windows offering a stunning view of the surrounding nature.

"Now this is what I'm talking about," Feyverk said, her eyes lighting up.

They quickly changed into their swimsuits and headed for the pools. The water was cool and refreshing, a perfect contrast to the sauna's heat. They splashed around, swam, and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

Tisha floated on her back, staring up at the ceiling. "This is perfect. I could stay here forever."

Katrina nodded, her eyes closed as she floated beside her. "Yeah, this is exactly what we needed."

Feyverk, ever the energetic one, swam laps around them before diving into the large pool in the middle of the room. "Come on, guys! Let's see who can hold their breath the longest!"

They laughed and joined her, diving and swimming, enjoying the carefree moment. For a little while, they were able to forget about the battles and the dangers that awaited them. They were just three friends, having fun and savoring the simple pleasures of life.

The chapter ended with the trio sitting back on the towel, watching the sunset through the large windows, feeling a sense of contentment and readiness for whatever lay ahead.
