The highest floor of the building was a stark contrast to the battle-scarred levels below. Katrina, Tisha, and Yara stepped into a beautifully decorated room, the centerpiece being a cute table adorned with a lace tablecloth and a delicate tea set. The room had a tranquil ambiance, with soft lighting and gentle music playing in the background. It was as if they had stepped into a different world altogether.
Camilla sat at the table, her demeanor calm and inviting. "Welcome," she said warmly. "Please, join me for some tea."
The trio took their seats, grateful for the momentary respite. Camilla poured the tea, the aromatic steam rising from the cups, creating a soothing atmosphere.
"Thank you," Katrina said, taking a sip. The tea was light and floral, a perfect match for the serene setting.
Camilla leaned back, her eyes thoughtful. "You know, Ozias is a man of great ambition," she began, her voice soft yet confident. "He's always pushing the boundaries, striving for more."
Tisha raised an eyebrow. "Ambition can be a double-edged sword," she remarked.
"Indeed," Camilla agreed. "But it can also drive us to achieve the impossible. Everyone has a wish they want to come true. For me, it's seeing Ozias reach his full potential, to ascend to the place of gods."
Yara frowned. "And what does that have to do with us?"
Camilla smiled. "Everything. Each of you has a part to play in this grand scheme. Katrina, for instance, you hold the soul's book-a treasure trove of knowledge."
Katrina's grip tightened around her teacup. "Why do you want the soul's book?"
"Have you ever read the full book?" Camilla asked, her eyes narrowing slightly. "It contains invaluable information about souls, the Supremes, and Olympo. If you give it to me, I can make you a successful model. Your career would soar."
Katrina shook her head. "I'm not interested in that. My path is different."
Camilla sighed softly, then continued, "Very well. There's another proposition. There's a hidden feature of souls that few know about. People can fuse their souls, unifying their power and strength. Imagine what you and Ozias could achieve together. You could reach Olympo and claim the power of the gods. And think about it-Klemens may have absorbed the soul of the Supreme she killed. Perhaps you have some of that power within you."
Katrina remained steadfast. "I'm not interested in fusing with Ozias. I want to see him face to face."
Camilla's eyes darkened for a moment before she nodded. "If that's what you wish, I can take you to him. But it will be difficult. Ozias is in the basement, and the plants have grown so much that the floors are blocked."
Feeling a surge of determination, Katrina charged her leg with energy. "I'll find my own way." She leaped into the air, her leg smashing through the ceiling. She continued this process, breaking through each floor with powerful kicks, until she finally landed in the basement.
The basement was like an enchanted forest. Vibrant plants and flowers grew wildly, creating a lush, green paradise. Standing amidst this verdant wonderland was Ozias. He turned to face her, his expression calm and unreadable. Next to him lay Celine, frail and pale, her breathing shallow.
Ozias greeted her with a nod. "So, you've finally arrived."
Celine, her voice weak but clear, looked at Katrina. "If I weren't so sick, you'd already be part of a tree, Katrina." She coughed lightly and then lay back, her body beginning to change. "My time has come."
Before their eyes, Celine's body transformed into roots and plants, creating a stunning display of flowers and foliage. As her physical form dissipated, rose petals floated gently to the ground, covering the floor in a beautiful, yet somber, scene.
