A year and a half had passed since Ozias had descended into the depths of the cave, a period marked by the separation of the group that once stood united against the dark forces that threatened their world. Each member of the team had gone their own way, pursuing different paths, trying to live normal lives after the harrowing events that had nearly torn them apart.

Katrina had settled into a quiet life, finding solace in the routine of her day-to-day activities. But deep down, she knew that the peace she had found was fragile, a thin veneer over the turbulent memories of the battles they had fought. She often found herself waking in the early hours of the morning, haunted by dreams of the past, but always pushing those thoughts away, convincing herself that those days were behind her.

But on this particular morning, something was different. It was just before dawn, the sky still dark with only the faintest hints of light on the horizon. Katrina lay in bed, the silence of the house wrapping around her like a blanket. Then, suddenly, she felt it—a disturbance, a pulse of energy that reverberated through her very soul. It was faint, almost imperceptible, but unmistakable. It was the same energy she had felt when they had fought against Yazias, an energy she thought she would never feel again.

Her eyes snapped open, and she sat up, her heart racing. Without a second thought, she got dressed and grabbed her car keys, her mind focused on the source of the disturbance. She knew exactly where she needed to go—the lagoon where they had fought Yazias, the place where Ozias had last been seen before he vanished into the cave.

As she drove through the dark, empty streets, the memories of that day flooded back to her. The intensity of the battle, the fear, the desperation, and finally, the relief when it was all over. But now, all of those feelings were back, swirling inside her as she sped toward the lagoon.

When she arrived, the sky was beginning to lighten, the first rays of dawn casting a soft glow over the water. Katrina parked the car and got out, her eyes scanning the area. Everything seemed calm, but the sense of foreboding she had felt earlier was stronger now, almost palpable.

She opened the trunk of her car and retrieved a small, ornate box that held the book and the jewels they had used in their previous battles. She didn't know why, but something told her to bring them along, just in case. Holding the box close, she walked toward the lagoon, her footsteps silent on the dewy grass.

As she approached the water's edge, she saw something that made her stop in her tracks. Emerging from the center of the lagoon was a figure—tall, imposing, and exuding an aura of raw power. It was Ozias, but not as she remembered him. His form was different, transformed. He was larger, more muscular, his body surrounded by a faint, shimmering light. His eyes were closed, as if he were still in a state of deep meditation.

Ozias (follower of Lyra)

Katrina took a deep breath, steadying herself. She placed the box on the ground, keeping it within reach, and clenched her fists, charging them with energy. She didn't know what Ozias's intentions were, but she wasn't about to take any chances.
