The Crow (Kim Taehyung Hybrid Au)

"Escaped."

It was Wednesday and since Mirae didn't work on Mondays through Thursdays, it was Namjoon's job to feed the hybrids. Especially him.

He went to the first room, Rabbits and bunnies, and could hear a few of the kids squealing in excitement when seeing him.
"Hyung! We've missed you!" A small 5 year old black bunny hugged his leg tightly, rubbing his cheek all over the til of his pants.

Namjoon chuckled, "Hi there!" He ruffled the little boy's hair and could hear his little tail flapping in excitement.

"Oppa!" A little bunny girl, age 4, came along to hug him as well. Namjoon couldn't help but giggle when more kids came along to hug him as well, it took a few adults to help him out.

"They've missed you, that girl will never be able to take your place, you know?" Said one of the adult rabbits with a smirk.

Namjoon rolled his eyes, "I know, but they can also like her. She's nice, and practically harmless." Namjoon said while distributing the trays to the kids in alphabetical order.

"Easy for you to say, you have an owner. Of course no on will try to hurt you." A dwarf rabbit came up with a bitter expression, Namjoon sighed and shook his head.

"Jin gave her this job for a reason, he knows what he's doing." Namjoon said, now giving out the trays to the adults.

"If so, how come we haven't been adopted yet? Did he promise all of us a better future?" Said a 12 year old rabbit.

Namjon clenched his jaw, unsure of what he could possibly say to soften the situation, then he came to a conclusion, nothing. There was nothing he could do, he was a hybrid after all. He's been lucky enough to be adopted by a vet, getting himself into political problems would definitely cross the line. Besides, he trusted Jin. He's been trying his best to help out injured hybrids ever since they met. That was already enough for him.

"Kim Seok-Jin is a good man. Just be grateful for what you guys have right now Sa-ra." Namjoon said and turned away from them to leave.

The pink haired lynx put on a protective mask to cover his face and thick gloves when the time came to feed the crow after feeding the rest of the hybrids. He unlocked the yellow door and let it slowly open to reveal the pitch black room. Then there was the blinking red light.

"Food's here." Namjoon placed the tray on the floor and pushed it further away from him into the darkness.

"What a pretty kitty." The crow said, his voice deep and slightly threatening.

Namjoon clenched his jaw, "Just eat your food." He turned around to walk away.

"Where's Kang?" Namjoon froze in his tracks, eyes widened while his heart skipped a beat.

"W-who?"
"Kang. Kang Mirae." The crow stood up and took a few steps closer to Namjoon, the lynx growled while glaring up at him.

"What about her?" Namjoon spoke through gritted teeth. Suddenly something hard like metal hit him on the leg, making him hiss and fall on the floor in pain. The door closed.

He gasped and reached down his pockets for anything to light up the room. Soon enough he pulled out a lighter he accidentally stole from Jin that morning. He quickly lit up and was immediately met with a face he didn't want to see so up close.

The crow's face was now a few inches away from his, those icy blue eyes of his sent him shivers down his spine while the light revealed his face in a astonishingly scary way.

"I want her to feed me. Not a privileged kitty." The crow tilted his head, his face still blank and expressionless. Namjoon growled and scratched him in the face, and suddenly everything was dark again while they fought.

After a while Jin walked in to check on Namjoon, he gasped when noticing that the yellow door was closed. He gulped and took out a taser inside his lab coat.

"Namjoon!" Jin shouted when opening the door and seeing as the crow tackled the lynx onto the floor in the daylight. He went behind the crow to tase him but he was too slow, the crow used one of his wings to slap Jin and the taser away from him.

"Back up!" Jin shouted through a small walkie talkie and soon enough a few nurses came up wearing the same stuff Namjoon was previously wearing.

The crow glared at the nurses and immediately drove into action, tackling another nurse and then another and then another until the others locked themselves away from him. Leaving Jin, Namjoon and two or three nurses laying on the floor, no one knew he had gone out of the clinic.
