"The Boyfriend."

It was Wednesday, and just as promised, Hoseok took a day off to spend it with Mirae. They had a sleepover Tuesday night and woke up to watch a few kids cartoons while eating Hoseok's famous chocolate chip pancakes that he used to make for them back in highschool.

After breakfast, he would show her a few dance moves he had been developing with his crew for his new clients, he couldn't help but burst into aggressive fits of laughter whenever Mirae fell on the floor due to her lack of balance.

At lunch, he'd cook her some chicken with rice, a safe meal he created for her whenever she felt negative about herself and her decisions. And after they were done, Mirae would use him as a model for some makeup looks she wanted to try on herself in the future. And of course they had a huge photoshoot in her bathroom after that.

By the evening, they went out to a little festival nearby. They got a few drinks and food, they didn't stay long since Mirae began to have a headache because of the loud music, Hoseok couldn't help but assure her that it was fine they didn't stay long. She felt guilty, but at least they stayed until midnight, already a new record.

"Aaah, I'm going to miss you so much!" Hoseok hugged her outside the apartment complex, drowning himself in her perfume.

"Me too!" The girl pouted slightly but still managed to give him a little smile.

"Goodbye my love, and don't forget to eat tomorrow!" He pinched on the cheek making Mirae giggle.

"Aish, fine!"
"Bye bye!"
"Bye Hoseok!" She waved while watching him drive away.

She sighed with content and turned around with her keys to enter the building, suddenly she heard a soft groan by the side of the building.

She grabbed a small taser from her purse and walked around to see what was going on.
"Hi baby~" She gasped and quickly turned around to tase the man, but it didn't do anything to him, because it was her boyfriend and he had been trained by the military.

"Get away from me!" She shouted while taking a few steps away from him.

"Come on Mimi!" He chuckled darkly, "Is that how you treat your boyfriend?" He then slapped her in the face, making her fall onto the floor and cutting her hand on a sharp rock.

"We broke up a month ago! You fucking rat!" She shouted, the man rolled his eyes and forced himself on top of her. Using his hands to trap her wrists.

"I thought we were going to be together forever? What happened, Mimi?" He kissed her neck, the girl bit him on the ear. He groaned and punched her in the face.
"You need to learn about respecting your elders!" He snarled.

The dark pixie girl couldn't hear him that well, she felt dizzy and lightheaded. She could, however, feel a cold hand massaging her body. Travelling all the way from her neck, to under her shirt and soon enough under her pants and panties.

"Please stop." She couldn't hold in the sobs that began to build up in her throat.

"It's me Mimi! You're fine!" The man giggled while massaging her private in a slow motion, it hurt, he was being rough like he always was.

"I'm going to fucking kill you." She sobbed again while the man simply laughed.

She felt so useless, so dirty. But soon enough his cold hand disappeared and she began to hear glads shattering. And after a while she could hear the man crying and sobbing like she was just a few seconds ago.

She blinked back to a throbbing headache and sat up, she groaned when feeling the strong sting of the fresh cut now dirtied up and bleeding down her hand.

"Enough! Please!" The man sobbed while being held down on the neck by a naked and bruised foot. Mirae gasped when noticing the large figure that was holding down the man, it's familiar feathered wings made her stand up and pull him away from the man. Noticing how he had already passed out.

"Let's go inside." She said while pulling Taehyung's arm with her. He didn't seem to mind it since he immediately began to follow her without protest.

She carefully led him to her apartment and quickly locked the door, tears fighting their way to form in the corner of her eyes.

"What happened to you? Where are your owners?" She asked while looking at the much taller hybrid in front of her, noticing a large cut across his face and over his nose. But then she gasped when noticing his metal collar and the red light.
"Taehyung? Why aren't you at the clinic?" She gulped, meeting the same pair of icy blue eyes that had once tackled her on the clinic's floor once.

He avoided her gaze and looked away before answering in a much quieter voice than usual, "They wanted to hurt me." He said, making her frown in confusion. And then it clicked.

"They...They did that?" She asked while pointing at his face, his eyes nervously darted away from her as he nodded.
"I...shit." She groaned and ruffled her hair in distress, "Too much shit in one day, I need to sleep." She sighed while rubbing her temples.

Taehyung didn't say anything, he stood there in silence while she drove into her own thoughts until she gave up. Soon enough he followed her to the only bedroom in the apartment.
"You can sleep in my room, I'll sleep there." She said pointing at the couch while gathering a pillow and a few sheets to cover herself with.

Taehyung simply stared at her as she prepared the couch to her own liking and comfort. He watched as she rummaged through the fridge for a glass of milk and then through the cupboard for cookies.

She noticed she was being watched and turned her gaze to meet Taehyung's, he quickly looked away. She frowned and looked down at the food in her hands, she bit her hand and carefully made her way towards him with the cookie and milk.

He looked down at the food and tilted his head,  she reached out the small plate and glass over to him and waited for him to accept it. To which he did, his hand carefully touching hers and sending shivers down her spine.

"Goodnight, Little--Taehyung." She turned around and went to sit down on the couch after turning off the livingroom lights.

Taehyung walked into the bedroom and closed the door behind him, his wings were carefully closed behind him in order to not knock anything over the small desk she had in the bedroom a few feet away from the queen sized bed.

He sat on the bed with the plate and glass in hand, he couldn't remember why exactly he ended up outside her building, what he did know is that something in him drew him closer to you, but something was definitely stopping him from knowing.
