Elena, Caroline and Alexia were walking outside of the school together.

"Have you and Bonnie talked?" Alexia asks the blonde.

"No, I'm mad at her." Caroline replies sassily. "She needs to make the first move."

"Be the bigger person." The oldest Gilbert says.

"Ugh, impossible in her presence." Caroline states annoyed.

"Why are you so pissed at her anyway?" Elena, who didn't follow the drama, asked confused.

"She's a thief, that's why." Caroline replies in a 'obviously' tone. "I gave her my necklace and she refuses to give it back. It's a matter of principle."

"Giving is giving and taking back is stealing." Alexia joked, but stopped at Caroline's glare. "I'm joking." She puts her hands in surrender.

"I'm officially out of it." Elena says causing Alexia to nods.

"So am I."

"Good." She turns to Elena. "Your turn. Where's Stefan? Have you talked to him?"

"He's avoiding me."

"Why?"

Elena shrugs, "it's complicated." She shares a look with Alexia.

The bell rings "We'll see you later, we have history. I can't wait to know who's the teacher replacing Tanner." Alexia says as they walks into the school.

Elena and her gets in the history class and sit down at their habituate places.

Bonnie walks in followed by the teacher walks in, "good morning everyone."

"That's you Ric!"

"I see that, Lex. Thank you."

"Alrighty."

"He's already weird." Alexia whispers to her sister.

"Oups, no offense, Ric."

"None taken."

He writes his name on the board. "Alaric Saltzman." He smiles at the class. "It's a mouthful, I know. It doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Saltzman is of German origins. My family immigrated here in 1755 to Texas. I, however, was born and raised in Boston." He started to explains.

"You know, you're the first teacher I see actually explaining his life." Alexia says to her father figure.

"Now, the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great-grandfather I will never be able to thank enough. You'll probably wanna pronounce it Alaric, but it's Alaric, okay? So you can call me Ric. I'm your new history teacher."

"Your last sentence should have been the only one after your name." Hermione Granger says.

"I know."

Alexia turns to the girl. "He likes to talk a lot."
