Klaus looks in the car mirror to see Alexia, behind, sleeping.

"She looks like she hasn't slept for days," Klaus remarks worriedly.

"That's because she didn't. Jeremy told me that the night after the funerals, she had a nightmare and spent the rest of the night crying." Stefan explains as Klaus nods.

"Nightmare about what?"

Stefan shrugs, "she didn't tell anyone."

"No.. please! Klaus.. don't do that.. don't kill her, I need her," Alexia mumbles. "Please.."

Klaus remembers that, he remembers how she had dreams about the same nightmares for months.

"You got your answer," Stefan whispers to Klaus who nods.

He regrets it now, knowing she hasn't slept for days because she has nightmares of him killing her aunt and sister. Elena had to die, but by anger, he also made Jenna die.

Alexia gasps waking up as tears starts to form in her eyes, "how much have I slept."

"20 minutes," Stefan replies as Alexia sighs and puts her head on the window admiring the landscape.

1 month later.

"I'm not going to play your wife," Alexia shakes her head.

"You don't have a choice, love," Klaus smiles at her. They speeds in front of a girl who's looking for her dog and when she turns and notices them, she jumps.

"Hi, I'm so sorry. Didn't mean to scare you," Klaus says in an American accent as Alexia secretly laugh.

"I hate your American accent," Alexia tells Klaus who's still at Rebekah's place. "You know you can come back?"

Klaus nods and goes back to his seat as Rebekah takes back her seat. He kiss her forehead.

"Can I help you?" The blonde girl asks.

"Yeah, my husband and I's car ran out of gas a couple miles back. We've been walking forever," Alexia says also in an American accent.

"You seem to speak better than me in this accent," Klaus smiles at Alexia who shrugs.

"I had a professor," Alexia smiles remembering how her dad used to teach her the American accent.

"Yours is the first house we've come to. We were hoping we could use your phone," Klaus says still in the American accent.

"Don't you have a cell phone?"

"My husband forgot to bring the charger," Alexia rolls her eyes. "The two of us have no battery."

"Look, we promise we're not serial killers," Klaus says as Alexia gives him a look.

"It's not good to promise something that is a lie," Alexia says kissing her soulmate's nose.

"We just wanna use your phone," Alexia adds.
